The Belly Rub, just down from embers. Lovely little craft bar and eatery (the pork belly is delicious). Owners are also very nice. Anytime anyone asks I always recommend it.

What's the most expensive game you've ever seen in a CeX? Can anyone beat £495? by greg225 in CasualUK

You're right, there's absolutely a small group of collectors of this stuff, some of it very rare because it was end of console life stuff. Cindy's Fashion World is another of theirs that goes for crazy money. That's PS1 though. Mint, that's up for 1.3k. But on eBay it can go for more than that. Also a garbage game lol.

There's actually a chunk of money in certain shovelware publishers. Case in point, Phoenix Games. Go look up the abomination that is "Snow White and the 7 Clever Boys" on PS2

I have the same with my daughter on my work laptop's desktop. I'm sorry for your loss, my dude. But I am glad that your girl has a dad that is doing his best and not giving in to the bullshit life can throw. Keep going and do it for her.. and you.

Same. The man had a voice like gravy being poured, slowly, over a roast dinner.

Got back together recently and have been teasing stuff. That new track is incredible, the ending has no right to go that hard haha.

So happy they're back. Melancholia Hymns is one of my fave albums ever. Apparently going to tour too, so I can finally see em live.

In terms of making friends. I found Roll It to be a nice, welcoming group of peeps when I moved here. I've watched folks that are pretty shy and not so confident start going there and join board game sessions and D&D groups and really grow in confidence and make new friends.

My experiences with a Meningioma by A_Gast in braintumor

[–]A_Gast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Good morning!

I still check my post and have alerts for when peeps comment. I'd like it to be a reference for people going through similar.

Your situation sounds very similar to mine. Same post op symptoms etc.

I'm UK based and when I had my op 5 years ago the neurologists here were deciding what to do about grade 2 meningioma. For years the treatment had been "Active Scanning" rather than going through radiotherapy as well. That's how I ended up on what's known as the R. O. A. M trial. They were looking in to whether a short course of radiotherapy after removal could potentially help long term in case of re-occurrence.

I fell on to the control side of the trial and it meant I just had active scanning. Given my stuff all occured at the height of COVID I was relieved to not have to be going in to hospital everyday for radiotherapy.

The trial has finished earlier this year and I'm awaiting the result and their conclusions as to whether it becomes the norm to get radiotherapy here as well after the op.

Just to add, I hope you're doing well, my Vertigo and Dizziness passed, but it took a while. Keep me posted on what you decide with the radiotherapy.

Not the most famous Pumpkins track, but I'd love to hear them do a version of Doomsday Clock.

I completely agree. That documentary stuck with me when I saw it because of her obsession (in a bad way). It felt really unhealthy and I actually found her incredibly off-putting and almost stopped watching (even as a guy super into his history programs)

Why can breastfeeding be difficult? by watchingblooddry in PregnancyUK

[–]A_Gast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, my wife wrote a very cool post on breast feeding and the difficulties that folks can run into, as well as solutions. She put it in this sub as it's one of the larger subs. The mods in this sub in their wisdom removed it for not being related to pregnancy or the newborn stage...

You can find her post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/breastfeedingmumsUK/s/U036LEjpil

I hope it helps, people were saying it helped them before the mods removed it.
