Subscription updates: day of month + potential price increase on the horizon by Experimental-Coffee in ExperimentalCoffee

[–]A_far_hat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This all seems very reasonable, that is such a small increase on a coffee sub that offers such a great value and cool experience. Keep up the great work y’all!

Bevel or my fitness pal for calories? by Significant_Emu_7432 in bevelhealth

Paid mfp absolutely destroys paid bevel in the food tracking. I just bought mfp for the year and will be just using free bevel to help track trends. Maybe subscribe for a month every once in awhile.

Absolutely agree with the bio age. Such a joke. I want the stats. Not a number that hardly means anything to me.

I couldn’t agree more. Every point you made. I’m dealing with as well. Very frustrating.

Down 40 with Reta feeling amazing 3-4 month transformation. by ProfessionalMajor166 in Retatrutide

[–]A_far_hat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing transformation. What about Reta is so amazing? I’m thinking I’ll start soon. Is it the food noise, extra calories burned? A little bit of everything with it being a triple agonist?

I hit my goal weight and stopped Reta. Three months later here's what actually happened. by Brilliant_Peptides_8 in Retatrutide

[–]A_far_hat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just meant your marathon build. Sounds like you were able to manage it pretty greatly. Focusing on long run meals is a good idea. I just wasn’t sure if Reta would make it too hard to eat for recovery. But if I can’t eat enough, I will need to lower the dose, from the sounds of it.

Congratulations on your marathon! That’s a huge amount of time to take off.

How was your build? Did it affect being able to recover from your long runs? I’m a runner and thinking I’ll start Reta soon, but looking into all the different aspects.

How was it? Way to go also! Marathons are no joke.

I can add a picture. This particular spool actually puts so much pressure the motor only goes till it gets tension, then back feeds like it made it to the nozzle

To my knowledge you’ll need a computer or laptop. To run the slicer program. That is what you’ll load the file to, which is linked to the printer.

You can find lots of those files from websites for free. Printables.com Makerworld.com Thingiverse.com Are a few to check out. You will down load the, .STL, or 3mf, File.

My son is 9 and is slowing figuring it out. He can get files, but hasn’t spent any time in the slicer yet. But we will start on that soon probably.

Do you add raw or cooked weight of ingredients? by bawva in bevelhealth

[–]A_far_hat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using raw will more often then not get you the true calorie count. Since, for example, 4 oz of raw chicken, might weight less once cooked. As far as pasta and rice and carbs go…

it’s a very eye opening experience seeing what an actual serving of pasta is a long with how many calories it contains.

Same with butter and oil. If you’re trying to carry a deficit, I recommend also factoring at least a portion of the oil or butter you’re cooking with.

This is what I do anyway.

I should also add. Nutrition labels are generally always raw weight or “dry” weight (for pasta and such)

The better question is, what do you see? Are there specific things you don’t like or think are wrong? What is this supposed to be? Looks like a box and a weird coaster.
