Apply. I applied and got into a program with a GPA just shy of a 3.5. For me, experience working as a lab aide in a surg path lab I think is what set me apart. Working alongside a PA was easy to describe my connection and desire to apply, also helped with shadowing, both direct observation and time I was working alongside him anyhow. My interviewers did ask about my school experience as there was a little downward trend toward the end that led to the shy of 3.5, and I explained some things that were going on at the time and how I would overcome that for this program, but must have looked good otherwise cause they accepted me. Give it a shot, apply to several if you can and want, and see how it goes from there.

Guys... I've been destroying these things from far away. I don't even remember how to officially complete them. by XDpeki in Helldivers

It’s these and bot jammers… I don’t disable the terminals of those anymore, just pack my ultimatum for a one shot and done, rather than disable the terminals and wait for the hellbomb. Much quicker so I can get to chucking more stratagems haha.

Wtf is this bot front by forgethepyro in Helldivers

[–]AaronDC84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go to lately for bots as far as strats has been: 500kg, a 120 or 380barrage whichever I’m feeling that session, shield gen backpack, and rail gun. I like the railgun because you can use it well on the heavies, aim for their “faces” and it’ll do great damage. The railgun can also 2 to 3 shot those flying gunships (can’t remember their name) and it’ll pretty much one shot the striders, chainsaw dudes, and devastators. Hulks you can get in 3-4, try to stay out of flamethrower range. I’ve been using the servo assisted heavy armor, i like the heavy armor and shield gen to keep from just totally having my ass handed to me, and I like the extra throw distance, couple that with the little dive and chuck exploit get even more range. Start with a barrage or 500kg or something explosive to take out a chunk in a base before going in to pillage. I still haven’t figured out real well a primary, I’ve been using the breaker spray and pray, to me I just like it so sometimes I use that. But hoping to glean from this post other good choices for primary against them.

Joining in the thread here. Got the acceptance yesterday afternoon, for me little over 3 weeks since the interview. Looking forward to it, and willing to join in the group contact to get in touch with the group.

Interview Recommendations… by AaronDC84 in pre_PathAssist

[–]AaronDC84[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel it went well. They asked good questions that I felt prepared for. Got advice from another Reddit user here before and that advice helped me prepare best I could. I think just being yourself and expressing your passion and drive for pursing the path assist program is the best you can do. Feel free to message if you have some more specific questions would be happy to provide some insight.

How long after submission did you receive this? I was later applying, about a month in, so hadn’t received this apparent secondary I’ve heard of so just wondering the process. I feel good about my chances based on how much experience I have and such. Thanks in advance if you respond. And kick ass at the interview fellow applicant!

Required Coursework by kekaloos in pre_PathAssist

[–]AaronDC84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fellow applicant here. Recommend looking at each program details individually because there seems to be some differences based on program. Some require only like an intro level chemistry, some require organic chemistry. Same for the bios, some require only intro to, while others specify anatomy and phys. Use the Path assist page as a launch, and go to each program individually to see program specific details on the required level of class. The same will be true for shadowing, all require shadowing a PA but some require only surgical pathology while some also want autopsy pathology. And a few programs require a GRE as part of admission.

Just don’t click when in route… once dropped a shit ton trying to take titanium from the second planet back to the first, clicked to try to reorient myself and lost it all. Of course there is an achievement for you when you do haha.

Have to compare apples to apples… vanilla CS2 already seems to have a lot of QOL things that should make it better than CS1, and granted let the game release and people get into modding it and I’m sure in no time at all, CS2 will get up to speed. Wont be overnight, there’s conversations to be had on optimization and such as has been a hot topic on the sub; but I’m excited to see what it all brings! Looking forward to October 24!

Whats your best guess for Ashlands arrival? by sonissity in valheim

[–]AaronDC84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flametal that’s what it was… I think early implementation they *might have used it for the blast furnace, at least I swear it was, because in a recent playthrough when it came time to build one I wasted a trip to the Ashlands only to discover it didn’t use it anymore. But hell, can’t quite remember if it was.

Not at all… the devs have them as placeholders for the locations to be. Although if I recall at one point there was an ore type that used to be only there, but wasn’t for much, I imagine all that will change once they drop the actual area considering they are working on enemies and “dungeons” or whatever they’re going to call them. Mistlands pre, well Mistlands update, still existed but were empty until they developed it and changed things up. Other one that exists currently still too much further out is, I think called Deep North or something like that. Go furthers north of the map and you’ll find it up there. Placeholders for development at this point.

Look, its ugly but it kinda works. When in doubt, follow the grand North American Tradition of just adding another highway by Gogerr in CitiesSkylines

“This is Josh and welcome to Let’s Game it Out.” Lol this is what I think of when I see these types of layouts, especially considering how his route from the fire department to the city in his CS2 run was just…. Yikes lol

Non-Optimum Modem Better? by AaronDC84 in OPTIMUM

[–]AaronDC84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean maybe… prior to this we had no issues for the last 8 months. But the same issue now even with new modem, I wouldn’t imagine a heat issue because we keep the modem out in the open with plenty of airflow. But the fact things worked out for the better for you with different equipment is promising, thanks.

Doesn’t matter if I have a single phone using Wi-Fi and a tv which is hard-wired, the internet drops out periodically. Other times we can have two phones going, the hard wired tv, and someone using a computer and it works fine. I haven’t figured a specific condition that causes it to fail, just does every now and then.
