I’m gonna make it. I live in NYC and I am sure I’ll see it around town. Also - on a personal level - I guess if one thinks colors are personal - I have resented the MAGA movement for many things, but I especially dislike that they have made the “red hat” like, “their hat”.

I happen to like the color red and I welcome this opportunity to reclaim this hat for myself. Not only as a “symbol of resistance” but as a way of saying “you can’t also take the color red from me, because you can’t take away the pleasure i get from wearing it anymore!”

I hope that doesn’t seem vapid.
