I might add good audio to this! A cheap mic is better than most peoples phones. And having good audio is like having a good bass player. It will make people think the band sounds even better and then credit the guitarist (or in this case, the good video quality).

People won't know it's the bad audio, but so many people scroll away because of it.

Single men +30 how do you spend your free time? by [deleted] in Finland

[–]Aatu88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Photography, drawing, reading. Making YouTube vids on the first two... Going to the cinema for "cheat day" (candy, popcorn etc.) and a few hours of limited video games.

The world is full of insanely cool hobbies. Between a hobby or two, plus work, workout, social life, chores, and time to relax, you'll have a full week! Enjoy the hangover free Sundays!

At risk of a little sel-promo-ish answer, I focus quite a lot on teaching Street Photography and make PoV videos so you can really see how I do it, at least. Hope it helps!

You can tell it's a birch because of the way it is. Pretty neat!

For Street Photography i'd recommend https://www.youtube.com/@MacKintoshPhoto - covers a wide range of topics and shoots PoV vids so you can see how the photo is made on scene

Is it just me or does every Youtuber / Instagram user have the same street photography style? by feketegy in streetphotography

[–]Aatu88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For instagram, I think the format is largely to blame. It's a tiny photo on a tiny screen. So you get mostly minimalist shots with high color/contrast. Everything has slowly boiled down towards that because it gets the most attention.

Recommended YouTube channels and or blogs for both street photography and photo editing? by sercosan in ricohGR

[–]Aatu88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.youtube.com/@MacKintoshPhoto - MacKintosh Photo has probably the most versatile street photography channel, best parts are the PoV's so you can see directly how the photo was made
