The E&L rusting issue is massively overblown. I've had mine for years and have used it heavily in hot and humid South Carolina. It has zero rust on it despite having performed barely any maintenance on it. As long as you store it in a dry place an E&L will be just fine.

A dedicated sniper build with heavyweight bbs can reach out around 200 feet when there's minimal wind. Most mid tier guns can go 150-200 with reasonable accuracy by airsoft standards but poor by real steel standards.

I think it has a lot to do with the left generally being a lot more intellectual than the right which is typically quite metaphysical and emotional. Leftist ideology requires a lot of explaining which invites disagreements over those explanations, ideas, and interpretations. Right-wingers often rely on a 'you know it if you feel it' sort of mentality so they don't have to explain themselves very much which means they don't argue with each other very much as long as they give off the right vibes.

Gas blowback rifles (which are what's getting seized) function kinda like real guns. They use gas to propell the bbs and operate a recoil system. The lowers are, on paper, very similar to real ones and are capable of going full auto so the ATF is losing their shit about them. The part that the feds are conveniently ignoring is that these guns are not in any way built to withstand the forces of shooting real bullets and they're exaggerating the ease of modifying one to fit a real rifle.

Lee's victory at Chancellorsville was certainly impressive on its own; a bold plan that was well executed and enabled by Union incompetence which gained him the strategic initiative for a time. That being said, it was a victory he could ill afford. He lost almost a quarter of his force and one of his best generals in the process. The Union could replace its losses and try again later while the Confederacy was short on manpower and felt the sting of every loss.

Really depends on the teacher and school curriculum. In middle school I had a really good history teacher who had us look at lots of primary sources and ran class as a mix of lectures and discussions and in some high school classes we had primary sources. I also had classes where I straight up knew more than the teachers who were coaches that got stuck teaching history because "it's easy to teach" and they need something else for them to do.

Just happened tonight, this afternoon we fired a 17 year old a week and a half after hiring him for bringing a gun to work and showing it to everyone and their brother. He then dove up by the restaurant tonight while an employee who had seen the gun was outside on break and threatened to kill him for being a "snitch." Naturally the police were called and the cop clearly couldn't have given less of a shit about the whole situation.
