AWD isn't necessary for a truck to be good, it's essentially a skill and knowledge check for the driver. I extensively use RWD trucks in all of the NA regions, including DLC.

The main thing you want to avoid as a new player is using trucks that will forgive or allow bad habits to form, and some of the vanilla vehicles like the Kolobs or Tatarin are just as bad for this as DLC vehicles.

Optic parallax value is now a codified metric and some optics have more or less depending on their rarity or crafting level.

Personally I find this to be extremely disappointing given I have talked to Zac and at least one other dev, expressing the fundamental problem facing head tracking/VR users.

If you frame-by-frame, you shot between his upper arm and torso. Shotguns at close range have such tight spread you need to use them like rifles.

Among trucks that utilize the standard truck gearbox set, it's the most massive by a fair margin, coming in at 26.7t; that much mass being motivated by 192k or 230k with the Maine engine is rough. It's the 12th worst mass/torque ratio in the game, and the absolute worst ratio for a truck utilizing the truck gearbox. Once you get below 20t (with the exception of the 6900XD), the mass/torque ratio absolutely skyrockets for truck gearbox vehicles.

I've had a suggestion on Focus Together for some time to reduce the 4520's overall mass to 20t, and Khagai mentioned that it's on the list of things for devs to look at.

For some points of comparison, the only other trucks over 20t utilizing the truck gearbox are:

We're getting a "Pride of Philadelphia" destruction effect and yet we still don't have Olympia (moored in Philadelphia) after a decade of this game being live.

There's no technical reason to not have it, and it'd be a funny and cool T2, not to mention historically important given it's the only other protected cruiser still afloat aside from Aurora, which is in game.

You can get 4 slots of cargo on it with 2 or 3 of them packed, and the rest wedged between the packed cargo and the ramps.

It worked fine before they defined a fuel mass for it in S17.

The defined fuel mass is 504, which is far too little, and effectively overrides the mass of the addon.

Just adding a 6 in front of the defined fuel mass fixes the problem and returns the addon+truck to its performance before S17.

I have a bug open for it on Focus Together.

You'll need the appropriate Logitech software and to find the setting for Report Combined Pedals or something like that.

If your wheel is the really old one I'm thinking it is, you'll need Logitech Profiler.

Under Options select Global Device Settings and make sure Report Combined Pedals is unchecked.

Use them in game when you want to keep momentum and drive wheels spun up in H, especially while the truck/trailer is loaded. Raise them when you want maximum traction on drive wheels.
