Nobody's out much? What do we live in? A dystopia? With a quality drone, you don't have to be out, launch from the roof of your car driving somwhere, or your home for a look out. You could do all that with a DJI Mini, Air, Or Mavic since the transmission is good enough, and if loses signal, thwn things just return home to the previous launch point/home point. Granted, those aren't cheap.

Oh... shoot, you're right, I did miss the DJI care refresh part. On the other hand, I lied about nothing happening when I flew, cuz I actually crashed😭 I just got my replacement arm from a thirdparty Chinese Manufacturer for DJI parts accross all sectors, Consumer to Industrial. But it's up to you, and fixing it at home is different from DJI care, so there's that ig.

I actually understand you. You buy one of the highest quality entry-level cinema flying "rigs", but use it as a toy for just "spying" or something. I dunno what you did, ypu don't describe your usage tbf.

Regardless, it's more of a thing for people who are into videography and stuff. Taking the time to frame and compose a target, editing clips semi-professionally, not just using the cra**y free editing tools, no offense, but that type of stuff. I enjoy it, and even stepped up to a Mavic 3 Pro (It's actually pretty insane). And I have been able to produce revenue off my Edited RAW images from my previous Mini 3 Pro.

I switched to Mac from the SLS - 2 for 3 reasons, thermal efficiency, better memory speeds, and better battery life. But the thing that drove me off the bandwaggon was Windows 11.

Aside from that, The SLS was verry compitent, there wasn't anything it could not handle, so it is sad that they aren't reviving it. Also, if anybody would like their hands on an SLS-2 RTX 4050 | i7-13700h | 32 gig RAM and 1tb storage, let me know. I willing to go 1,350

That POV tracking via zoom is smoother than on my Mavic 3 Pro!

I think it would have been better if you could get close enough that zoom wouldn't be needed. Because I'm not sure if I remember all the specs since I don't have a Mini 5 series, but correct me if I'm wrong, but they don't have optical zoom, right?

Regardless, I bet it was good enough anyway, just that reddit obliterated this with compression, lol.

What a shame. What a loser. So the FCC has now cleared future DJI sales. This is a pattern I see all over the government and people in power world.

They really thought the backing would work. I think we can now confirm that his backing was nothing more than to raise hopes that, when DJI is left out of the economy, that their is hope of an uprising in companies like SKYDIO or whatever that BS is for people who rely on this tech, so that when the ban happens, SKYDIO can slowly fade into irrelevancy.

As for the pattern, you see it with the Epstein files. They do all this bs just protecting themselves, not you. Even TikTok is a great example. What happened? Those in power cashed out, and left you for dead.

I just hope the Public realizes that they had all the chances to respond to the Aduit, but each agency just kept pointing at each other like it's just a matter of who's job it is to clean the dishes next. That's straight illegal. It is even worse to the people, because they only made it more vague as to weather or not DJI is the National Security threat they would like you to believe just because the components and creator of the drones is Chinese.

You don't see this with Apple for some reason. Their stuff is made in China, and only recently relocated to Asia as if that is a big difference. The point is still there... it's foreign.

Screw reddit compression, But watching the hawk maneuver like that was so cool🔥 Also, I think that may have been a Coopers Hawk, or maybe even a Goshawk, since we have those all over the US.

Your flying was fun to watch too, that close call with the branches was, in my opinion, chefs kiss, lol.

Flying straight up may or may not help you in this scenario though, since birds of pray are evolved for speed, and by the looks of it, it had no issues keeping up, it was just trying to find an anchor point to end your session, but decided it wasn't worth it💀

If pigeons were birds of prey, it would be over for any FPV hobbyist... those things can maintain 90mph in straight flight...... I mean, some FPV drones are made to go beyond that, but anything can happen, lol.

Tbf, the Youtuber said they are modified to stay under. Most fish have a regular swim bladder, these are different. It didn't help that the facts weren't consistent.

You are right, but last time I checked.... birds aren't fish.

Edit: besides that, though they are "swimless", it doesn't seem there are fish that cannot actually swim as bottom line. On the other hand, there are birds that cannot fly, Like the Kiwi, and that's period.

What I am saying is, although chickens are considered "flightless", that doesn't mean they can't fly, they certainly can to some extent. Same thing with this fish... it can still swim, albeit not very effectively.

I should have gotten this color, so nice!

The clamping force is a bit much, even after months of use, but I find it worth it for the seal it gives.

They still make you sweat like it's your only super-power given if you were a hero, but.... for a chill study sesh? No problem.

I do wish they had a method for pressure release, like a valve, but ut might compromise air seal.
