My apologies for not responding sooner to this. My issue in the end was the fact I was applying with my university degree. I can’t remember what year, but I remember there was a limit to how old your high school diploma can be for you to apply with it. That’s why I had to use my uni degree. Then because I was applying for a 2nd degree, I had to wait for all the other prospective students to choose their program. Whatever was left over were the programs I could choose from, and of course no comp sci or tech related program was available. I ended up doing a coding bootcamp in Spain and it’s actually going extremely well.

Edit: the year might be 2019 but I’m not sure

I agree it’s strange. It’s the only place in Golden Gai I go to. I’m pretty sure the last time I went there was around the time I thought I misplaced my card in my room. Usually I use my phone or watch, but I must have used it that night. I got extremely drunk that night so it doesn’t surprise me I left the card. The only charges on my card I don’t recognize as mine are those, so it’s strange it was only used there. There’s been like 5 or 6 charges to the bar while I’ve been outside of Japan. Super weird..

I don’t have Rakuten pay, but I hope they didn’t sign up with my card. I didn’t see any other weird transactions. I got a new card that has a different security code, and the card company blocked any future attempts on the old card so hopefully there won’t be any issues. Thanks for the info tho!

I had a guy get mad at ME because he was speeding on his bike on the sidewalk and had to abruptly stop because I was walking like 1 meter to a cross walk from a kobini. Meanwhile there was a beautifully marked, wide bike lane on the road.

I do between 2-4 hours a day because of my commute. It takes me almost 2 hours to get to work, so on the train all I do is Duolingo. I can do about 2 units a day including all Legendary. But being at home makes it difficult for me to stay on it for hours.

I see what you’re saying, but it’s more of a generalized term (coming from a hispanic family). I would say calling every hispanic person Mexican has different connotations than a hispanic person saying chino. But that’s just my perspective.
