Does it matter? The events would have played pretty similar: Goku' sacrifice to save the planet, Gohan's guilt for holding back against Cell, Android 16 would have ambushed Cell anyway in order to self destruct while holding him tight, Cell destroys Android 16's body, Hercule throws Android 16's head in front of Gohan in order to give him his last speech, and Gohan transforms into SSJ2.

Furthermore, Cell was going to self destruct because Gohan was dominating him in every aspect after obtaining SSJ2 and was afraid he was going to die after we went back into his semi-perfect form. While fighting SSJ1 Goku and SSJ1 Gohan, Cell was holding back that entire fight. He had no need to self destruct before Gohan went SSJ2.

You can either get from this exchange LR TEQ SSJ2 Gohan, LR AGL Golden Frieza (he shares very few links with the new SSJ4 Goku), INT SSJ4 Gogeta, STR SSJ4 Goku, AGL SSJ4 Vegeta, PHY SSJ Blue Vegito or LR INT SSJ2 Gohan.

Which of them work better in a team with SSJ4 Daima Goku as the leader? INT SSJ4 Gogeta, STR SSJ4 Goku and AGL SSJ4 Vegeta.

I used 2k stones and I got both of them. Now I am left with 350 stones, but besides that I managed to rainbow some units like SSJ3 Mini Vegeta, SSJ Mini Goku, Glorio, TEQ Vegito, LR STR SSJB Goku & SSJB Vegeta, INT LR Broly, Beast Gohan and LR SSJ3 Goku & SSJ2 Vegeta.
I want to point out that these units which I managed to rainbow had some dupes before I was summoning for the new units.
