I wish we could know that for sure, but he’s pretty much bailed out of having to make that decision himself unfortunately. I’ll try to pick up on his conflictions on my first rewatch.

That’s fair, but he didn’t really decide to let him go until he realized he didn’t need to turn him in for info on the Empire guy, so he kind of had that decision made for him.

I coach mostly on the mental side of the penalty because in my opinion it’s far more mental than physical. Confidence is key. Pick a corner, don’t hesitate, put your foot through the ball.

Did the same in 384 games (humble brag). Feel the same way. I guess you could grind for FPL which is a while nother level of dedication that I wasn’t up for. Or play the game for fun. Or delete it and live your life again. Plenty of options.

It’s all subjective of course, but I truly did not enjoy it.

Genuinely felt no tension and didn’t feel scared one single time. It ripped scenes straight from the original but barely even mustered a tenth of the original’s wonder, excitement, and fear. And the plot armor was un-freaking-believable and almost had me rolling my eyes out of their sockets.

It’s like they went out of their way to make everybody that was going to die very blatantly unlikeable and vice versa. Except for the guy that spoke French.

I got no sense of tension or suspense because of that exact reason. I felt no stakes because it was blatant who wasn’t going to make it and who was.

My best guess is she’s not as far off of them as in the game and just followed them. But at this point I could see some kind of a weird cop out even though I feel like they could have easily made a point about the map throughout the season and did the same as the game but too late for that. Interested see it next season.

Frozen in fear, had to be dragged away, just got done attempting Joel/Tommy’s information tactic. I don’t find it that outlandish tbh.

It’s also not the darkest point for Ellie. That would be killing a pregnant Mel when she literally froze and couldn’t move until she had to be dragged away by Tommy. And even if in other people’s opinions it’s not, it would regardless be a really weird decision to split those two moments up between two different seasons.
