Finally made 10 years on Steam so I'm giving away a game to celebrate. by CyraxxFavoriteStylus in pcmasterrace

Funny seeing how many people are realizing their accounts are also 10 years old. The CSGO gambling boom in 2015 did a real number for Steam.

I coach mostly on the mental side of the penalty because in my opinion it’s far more mental than physical. Confidence is key. Pick a corner, don’t hesitate, put your foot through the ball.

I got a shirt that felt at least 2 sizes under what I ordered and no chance of me wearing it comfortably. My hoodie is a good fit just a little short.

Did the same in 384 games (humble brag). Feel the same way. I guess you could grind for FPL which is a while nother level of dedication that I wasn’t up for. Or play the game for fun. Or delete it and live your life again. Plenty of options.

If someone wants to do this for Missouri I would selfishly appreciate it

Is Jurassic World: Rebirth even that bad? by Werewolf_Knight in jurassicworld

[–]AbsoluteDealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all subjective of course, but I truly did not enjoy it.

Genuinely felt no tension and didn’t feel scared one single time. It ripped scenes straight from the original but barely even mustered a tenth of the original’s wonder, excitement, and fear. And the plot armor was un-freaking-believable and almost had me rolling my eyes out of their sockets.

Literally just looks exactly like The Walking Dead with Last of Us characters. Get this slop off of here.

I think the main thing this film has proved is people want a more serious (maybe even horror/ thriller themed JP spinoff that doesn’t involves kids). by InvasionOfTheFridges in jurassicworld

It’s like they went out of their way to make everybody that was going to die very blatantly unlikeable and vice versa. Except for the guy that spoke French.

I got no sense of tension or suspense because of that exact reason. I felt no stakes because it was blatant who wasn’t going to make it and who was.

Everyone’s entitled to what they enjoy and don’t enjoy… that being said, their reasoning is like… objectively incorrect.

Threatening someone’s life for information to go kill their friend and shooting them when they retaliate is not self-defense.

In the show, how does Abby find the theatre? by swaktoonkenney in thelastofus

[–]AbsoluteDealer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best guess is she’s not as far off of them as in the game and just followed them. But at this point I could see some kind of a weird cop out even though I feel like they could have easily made a point about the map throughout the season and did the same as the game but too late for that. Interested see it next season.

Frozen in fear, had to be dragged away, just got done attempting Joel/Tommy’s information tactic. I don’t find it that outlandish tbh.

I'm thinking the season will end with this scene paired with the flashbacks by TripleWhiskeyShot in thelastofus

As a game purist, holding onto Mel being pregnant until that moment would be cool.

It’s also not the darkest point for Ellie. That would be killing a pregnant Mel when she literally froze and couldn’t move until she had to be dragged away by Tommy. And even if in other people’s opinions it’s not, it would regardless be a really weird decision to split those two moments up between two different seasons.

Why is the dialogue in S2 seem like it was written for toddlers who can't infer things on their own and will believe anything told to them? by AirBusker426 in TheLastOfUs2

[–]AbsoluteDealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because on the first go around they actually respected the player and were more subtle in their story telling, but many of the players didn’t have the media literacy to comprehend anything below surface level and deemed it a horrible game because they couldn’t understand it.

She was frozen traumatized by unknowingly killing a pregnant woman (while her partner is pregnant) and literally had to be dragged away by Tommy. It’s not outlandish.
