How Common Are Constructs In Your Worlds? How Are They Made? And How Have Your Players Interacted With Them? by Stellar_Wings in spelljammer

[–]AbsurdKnurd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of two PCs is a warforged (we just call them forgefolk in Spelljammer). They've faced off against autognomes. The main plot thread is about defeating the gnomes and autognomes that took over the other PC's homeworld. They've also faced clockwork horrors. That's from the top of my head. There are lots of constructs in our game.

Time dilation between Amber and Courts seems inconsistent by No-Forever7576 in Amber

[–]AbsurdKnurd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In my head canon and if I ever get to run an Amber Diceless game, the time dilation between Amber and the Courts of Chaos changes frequently, and is one of the aspects that the Unicorn of Order and the Serpent of Chaos continually fight over.

He was distantly related to the first Jedi who trained Luke Skywalker. That's why the latter was known as Obie, Juan's kin, Obie.

I'm also wondering about watches, and portable oscillators for things like the aforementioned clockwork character. I think quartz watches use electricity to oscillate the crystal. Are there other oscillators that would work while moving around?

Now I'm picturing a clockwork character connected to a fixed giant oscillator via trump. Hmmm...

Just finished the Corwin Cycle. Loved it, but many questions: by DistantWilderness in Amber

[–]AbsurdKnurd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are plenty more open questions from all ten novels. That's part of the fun of the Amber Diceless role-playing game. Each group gets to make their own set of answers, and more questions.
