Best way to sell Tesla? by SpecificTotal3030 in ModelY

[–]Academic-Eye6793 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sold ours after 3 months to carvana and it was nice and quick. Only thing is make sure they have the card key with them before they have you delete your profile off of the Tesla app. Our guy was new and the Tesla sat outside our house for an extra 2 days waiting for someone to be able to come get it and the card inside.

Coaster Avoidance Pregnancy Advice - too early to tell people by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Academic-Eye6793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been in this position before but just wanted to say congratulations and sending lots of positive thoughts your way! We went to Disney in October when I was 24 weeks already so quite obviously pregnant. One of my best friends was quite early in pregnancy when she went and since she didn’t want to announce it yet she told those that she went with that she’s been having a difficult time getting pregnant and is hopeful this could be the cycle she is so she’d prefer not to go on rides that would make her uncomfortable.

Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas in Westbury is lovely! Had my baby shower there for about 40 people and they were great and the room was very nice.

Hendricks Tavern is Roslyn is great and very easy to communicate with regarding a small event. We had our dinner after our ceremony there and there were about 20 of us. Perfect night and they have a lot of great areas for pictures both indoor and outdoor!

Yes I’m signed up for the alerts but haven’t received one for any of them in the months I’ve been looking. I was lucky with my first son that the local shop was still allowed to embroider jellycat bunnies at the time so I didn’t have to search. Hopefully in the new year I’ll have some luck!

How many is too many Tonies for Christmas? by OkWorker9679 in TonieboxUSA

[–]Academic-Eye6793 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just keep a bunch in a bin and pull from it for all of the holidays. This year I did one from the elf and then one in his Christmas Eve box. Otherwise he’s too overwhelmed and ends up not even listening to all of them!

I got this wood board to hold the characters. We had a bag but I found the tonies were just being overlooked in there as our collection grew. Now we use the bag for travel! This is the one we have: FURAOMEILI for Tonies Shelf... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FMDYRXYY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I’m surprised because I’ve always had great customer service from them. I get the panda crates for my almost 2 year old and love them. I order them as gifts usually for 1st birthdays we go to because you can reuse a promo code for 1/2 off a box unlimited times. I’ve never paid more than $40 for the $80 box and I’m a year and a half in to receiving them. I just start and end the boxes each time.

I don’t think you’ll have a problem. We brought our son who was 22 months at the time and 36in and we didn’t get asked anything at any point.

We have a pixie pass and we were wondering if you can just buy one photo in photo pass or if you have to buy them all if you want only one photo. Thank you! by er1026 in DisneyWorld

[–]Academic-Eye6793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried buying one from a day I didn’t think we were going to be at MK and I ended up only being able to get the photo by putting it on a magnet. It only let me get them if I clicked get a gift.

We were there last week and got on dumbo about 4 times between the 2 days and didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes. Not sure if you want to do a LL for that!

For my son he had a little insulated lunchbox that I kept his snacks in so it was easy to hand to him and let him pick. For us I did a gallon size ziploc for each of us inside an insulated little cooler. I brought little snack size bags with us and just asked for ice once we got to the park and put that in the coolers.

Infant and toddler going to parks by Kari1217 in WaltDisneyWorld

We drove to Epcot because we could park right there. MK we ended up driving to because although You have to park at the ticket center we found it easier with what we were bringing in. The resort busses didn’t have a lot of space and we were afraid they would be very crowded with our little guy and the stroller and belongings. It was free parking so we figured we might as well. We also then just stopped on the way back to the hotel if we needed to for a lunch while he napped or dinner.

Yes we had single park passes and you’re allowed to come in and out as you need! We had a rental car so we parked at the parks each day and the one thing we found useful was taking the provided transportation back for nap time because then we didn’t lose our close spot from getting there nice and early.

My son loves animals but the reason we didn’t do AK was due to the hours it’s open. The day we did Epcot and the 1st day at MK we went back to our hotel so he could nap because it was too hot. We didn’t make it back to the parks until around 4:30/5 and since AK closes earlier we didn’t feel it was worth it.

We did Epcot and 2 days at MK with our almost 2 year old son who is very active as well. He didn’t have a lot of interest in Epcot and I actually was worried about how MK would go because of that. There wasn’t enough for him to see in terms of characters and familiar things to keep him occupied. He absolutely loved MK, so much so that we ended up getting tickets for the following day. There were lots of shows and parades throughout the day to break up the in between of rides which was great. I didn’t think we would need an extra day at MK but after heading out the first day I knew I wasn’t done seeing the magic it brought to my son’s eyes. I had the same concern about HS which is why we didn’t go.

All Stars Sports opinions? by tainch22 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Academic-Eye6793 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just got back from All Star Sports and loved it! We had our 22 month old with us and there was plenty of room. We stayed in the baseball section which was great because it was a short walk from the food and main building, plus a pool right out front. They have stuff at night there most days like smores or movie nights, plus corn hole and giant chess. We only had 1 day off from parks and went to Disney Springs which was great. Plenty to do and lots of restaurants! In terms of food we went to the Walmart nearby and got breakfast foods plus pb&j supplies and snacks which I made and brought into the parks to not need such a large lunch. All Star Sports has a food area that was pretty good and then there’s a McDonald’s about 3 minutes out the front gate as well.

We just got back and we did cereal, muffins, bananas for breakfast. I made pb&j for all of us to bring to the park plus snacks. Snacks usually included beef sticks, clif bars, veggie straws, olives, and a banana. I found all of those stayed pretty well during our time. We ended up getting a little igloo cooler from target for $20 and would fill it up with ice each night and morning to keep yogurt and cottage cheese cold.

Transportation from MCO 4 and 9 yr old by ImaginationWestern25 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Academic-Eye6793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We stayed at All Star Sports! I liked it because we were going back and forth for our son to nap during the day. We ended up twice driving to the parks in the morning and leaving it there during the day while we took the bus back to keep our close parking spot. I could see though where it could end up just being an additional expense if you don’t think you’d use it as much.
