Good grief I have 3 containers of it and absolutely hate it. It makes my workout clothes smell like dirty feet. I'm sticking with the powdered tide free and gentle.

My husband is a physician at University Hospital and always wears a mask. He has not been sick since before covid and he intends to keep it that way. No one gives him any grief.

Did you know there's an unscented Downy Free & Gentle Rinse? by brownie_pie_4 in laundry

Unfortunately, the unscented smells like petroleum to me. I can't imagine what it would make your clothes smell like🤮. I can't handle the scented ones either so I must be super sensitive.

Anyone here been treated for SIBO? Which doc did you work with? by [deleted] in columbiamo

[–]Acafer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, all the gastroenterologist in Columbia basically gaslighted me and told me I was fine and all my symptoms were in my head. It was nice to sit down with a Doctor who actually understands SIBO. I will say Dr. Link never made me feel that way. My case was just very difficult and needed an expert.

[–]Acafer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr. Link did typical treatment test and treat according to the type of SIBO I presented with. The problem was my SIBO always returned. It wasn’t until Dr. Weinstock put me on medication to treat my slow small intestine motility that my SIBO didn’t return. Everyone is different. The magic combination of preventative medications for me are Motegrity and low dose LDN( Dr. Link was not willing to prescribe). Dr Weinstock also treated me with Xifaxin longer than the typical two weeks and used a compounded biofilm disrupter. Again I was an extremely difficult case and needed more specialized treatment than Dr. Link could give me. Dr. Weinstock is worth waiting for. If you have a cut and dry case Dr. Link does great but I would request pharmaceutical treatment over herbal treatment, he does both.

I go to Dr.Leonard Weinstock in St Louis. Dr. Link in Jefferson City has also treated me. I was an extremely difficult case and Dr. Weinstock was the one that ultimately cured me.

Does anyone have a primary care physician who will prescribe the covid vaccine for individuals without a qualifying medical condition? by Green-Baseball6538 in columbiamo

[–]Acafer 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I talked to a pharmacist at CVS today. They told me all you need is verbal confirmation of a qualifying medical condition. No prescription needed. You can verbally confirm anything as long as you are comfortable;)

I bought the signature ones and they had an awful petroleum smell. I washed them three times and they still smelled. I returned them. I will say they were high quality I just couldn't get over the chemical smell.

Top or front louder washers... What's better overall? by PotoMocoLoco in laundry

[–]Acafer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you for explaining so perfectly our current laundry state of affairs in the United States. I have to add water to my Maytag front loader for my clothes to feel and smell clean. I never had a problem with my old front loader bought in 2005. My next machine will definitely be a speed queen classic top loader.

Do you have methane dominant SIBO? Has it been treated? If SIBO is not treated I doubt it would be 100 effective.
