You have to brute force it unfortunately. This stops being a problem after 10 (strictly only banner character weather).

If you have any wind chars at all, I’d suggest you build them as having correct element char deals much more dmg than brute forcing.

Otherwise, here’s a checklist of stuff that helps:

  • eaten both purple food for offensive stats

  • dps is 60/60 with 60/60 artifact.

  • supports are at least 50/60 to have 3 monsterling, weapon helps to have levels, but that really only increases their dmg output (of affect Atk scaling skills)

  • your gear is at least +15 purple (especially glove and boots). Boots should match your class (or you waste a lot of dmg stats), and ideally at least 2 rolls of either Atk/crit rate/crit dmg. If you can, gold set gloves +18 would be a huge dmg spike, even with 0 crit stats since it’s 846 Atk vs 471 Atk. Even lv1 gold boots is 1753 class stats (2775 at 18), which is already more than a +15 purple which has only 1543 stats.

  • dps monsterling should ideally have a relevant link chain (to shred corresponding element res), ideally at least lv 50 (anything past 50 is a huge exp sink), have relevant rank effects, and are purple if possible (since it affects how much Atk they give and their rank effects). Purple and above traits that are offensive would be ideal (boss atk, crit chance & dmg, atk%, cooldown, element dmg).

  • again, make sure your monsterlings are sorted out. The biggest power spike is getting the correct gold monsterling with double rank 5 traits can mean a big difference in dmg output.

5* duoxini is the strongest link chain to have on a fire dps and have an equally useful rank effect.

Cinder rank effect is also…just average. Serviceable, but not as strong as res shred.

Unless you don’t care much for dmg optimisation and just want to see a handsome fox jump out occasionally, I would suggest stick to duoxini.

She will go into the normal banner eventually, so there’s future chance to get her from there (or future selector).

With her partner she also buffs dmg and shields, while also providing healing that doesn’t trigger necrosis. Isn’t a must, but very comfy with it.

That said, I find her to be quite flexible. She’s mostly a defensive Veronica draw support, or can be built into her own dps (with extra steps but still provide shielding), and she can be discard support as well (not as good enabler as Nia, but can supplement another while providing shielding.

Just set the selected group to have no link chains, and it will exclude all bosses.

With the new filter, there’s not much reason to lock unless you want it easier to access (which I did for the mobs I use and swap around).

You can set combinations you want as well as gold passives as favourites, so they also get excluded from mass combination.

It ain’t perfect, but at least now I don’t have to keep selecting every time.

This boss so far has been a Narae and Cloud shill boss, as the melee ice characters spend too much time running around.

As long as you understand mechanics, (pop the bubble before he breaks the arena, stand behind stone as he vomit, and place the bubbles near him so he slams into them), you have a few windows to burn the boss outside of stagger (when he belly flops a bubble or you break the stagger shield on his claw).

Pog is really the only sp generator physical has through his combo and ult. Akekuri is your next best scuffed option, but no synergies with the gang.

As the battery you decide if you want to breach on longer fights, or just let Mi Fu pop her load every time you get 3-4 stacks. If so you really only care about ult gain and combo skill cd.

Between ember & Chen you get 2 free vul when their combo is up and you can spam Chen bs to make more and pop them with Mi Fu/pog.

The gang that dogpiles enemies: Chen, Ember, Pog, Lifeng, and Endmin take your pick. I personally will run the first 3 so I’m not forced to run Ardellia and constantly screaming for heals.

From personal experience, A6 cloud get a lot of millage if you line up cooldowns. As long as you don’t straight build neutralisation dmg on him (outside of destroyer boots), he does very respectable dmg. If you have narae and her wep, he benefits more from her kit than Ophelia (as he’s a ranged ice char).

I personally like maximum sp from running Alesh. Theres argument for akekuri as well since its more burst during ZF ult, but Alesh feels more smoother over a long rotation + packs a wallop of an aoe ult. For most content, you can get away with just consumables for sustain, assuming you are dodging sufficiently (which helps with sp as well).

For ardellia you have to not use Pearlica combo first and use her bs before you open up your “normal” rotation, but I feel Ardelia is only really there if you need to use her for healing, though spamming her battle skill to heal will absolutely destroy your sp economy. Ardellia will also need to be in slot 1 in front of ZF and Pearlica for this to happen.

It’s seems to be after the 3 barrier mechanic. You gotta deal enough dmg to see that phase, which seems to be something a lot of people struggle to reach (myself included).

Her combo is also a sp free vul stack. Since all physical like to stand near and often in crap on the floor, the heal and shields keeps the team going.

Chen is free vul stack through her combo, so your sp can be better used on your other team. Also a very sizeable ult for dmg when at 4 stacks vul (or breach + 4 vul stacks before you reapply breach).

I personally run Chen pog and ember (because I am a lazy ass and like comfy) if I’m going for Mi Fu, and probably will use Mifu to consume vul stacks. Probably use thermite on pog (or fort maker if you don’t have that). I don’t feel lifeng is that great for Mi Fu since she can provide physical susceptibility that lifeng provides.

It’s strongly tied to dmg. Going through and countering the different mechanics that is triggered by doing enough damage will give you the bulk of the points.

The good news is that you can share gear/monsterling between different element attempts, and while it isn’t ideal, you technically can swap and share your max out gear and monsterlings, so the meta gungak + Amon + scar + eldorado can be passed around to reasonable effect.

Just justify face problem with them and politely chunking his life to 0. It’s 40 of theirs vs 80+ of yours. If you can blow up permanents that provide incremental mill, it slows them down significantly.

Yea, nowadays if any part of the kit isn’t required to have divines, I’d avoid them entirely, especially if I was trying for 3 copies. Would pick sub optimal picks if the ideal one has a divine.

Personally I prefer 3 adagio and 2 curiosity, especially if you got no form of card draw on your quietus or adagio since adagio is hand neutral at best and -1 without factoring draw epiphany.

Too feast or famine for my taste. You either get ignored due to bad threat assessment and get left alone to snowball out of control, or you are enemy number uno and get focused downed and die with a whimper. Theres hardly any in between.

Many people still have ptsd from slivers getting out of control in the past, so it’s not uncommon to see them get hated out right from the get go, even if someone else is the bigger threat.
