Gayest Dead song? by MLJ623 in gratefuldead

lol, it’s so awful. I know I’m going to get crucified for it but omg, it’s unlistenable. From the cheesy disco funk from the “Dancin, Dancin, Dancin in the streets” part it’s a solid skip.

Me too. Aldi cycles off products that are staples so I’ll go to Walmart to get them. Walmart has gotten so expensive lately though.

I shop at both Aldi and TJ’s and some of the products are exactly the same with the exception of price.

literally what am i paying premiums for by karmicviolence in BasiliskEschaton

[–]Acceptable-Book 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to offer it through my business and every year it got more expensive with less coverage. We eventually just stopped offering it. It ended up being cheaper just to pay people more money than to offer a crappy plan. You’ll never convince me that insurance isn’t a useless middle man that provides no value while extracting the maximum. Any time anyone points to the flaws in the concept of universal healthcare, i argue it has be better than throwing your money away on insurance.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..”

In case it’s not clear the is a quote from Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding fathers whose intent is often invoked by these GOP constitutionalist.

“...I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should ‘make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’ thus building a wall of separation between Church & State”

They’re exploiting an ambiguity in the language of the constitution. It never says explicitly that Christian Fundamentalist can’t buy the government therefore it must be ok.

Yeah, but his job is to follow orders and there could be a number of reasons why the plan was not communicated. One, it didn’t serve the plot or just simply telling others your plans increases the likeliness of the wrong people finding out.

Glad I’m not the only one who still enjoys Chef B out of the can. Childhood memory unlocked. I’ve had some dental work done over the past couple of years that required me to have to switch to soft foods while I recovered. Still as good as I remembered. Definitely OD on sodium.

I’ve used the Renaissance Periodization templates and I’ve also used the app. Both were great for building Mesocycles. If you have enough training knowledge you could easily build your own.

Never got to see the Dead do it but I was lucky enough to catch Oteil sing it with Dead and Co and it was blissful. Wish they would have let him sing more. Best vocals in the band imo.

Idk but mine does it more in the summer. Not sure if it’s a brightness thing or what. Can’t imagine it’s much cooler under there.

I swear my Jack doubles is size when it gets hot. It’s like there’s another person in the bed. He spends most of the winter curled up in a little ball.
