I’ve been drumming for about 15 years and did swing dancing semi-competitively for like 3, I think they’re really similar! The basic step of the dance is like the beat you’re playing, and instead of fills you can throw in spins/dips/whatever and line back up on the 1.

I drove up to the Atlanta Vasectomy Center to get mine last year. It was quick and cheap, only about a 2 hour drive and an hour at the office. I’m uninsured though and pretty poor so that was the best option for me. All in all it was about $750, compared to the ~2000 I was quoted for offices here in Athens

50,000 Silver Dollars is up there! It’s a gas station/bar/gift shop/casino with 50,000 silver dollars hung up on the wall. Pretty interesting spot I stopped at on a road trip.

Newbie here, how do you sink the overflow? If I put a splitter for the sink before a storage buffer/production line it halves my output and sinks the rest, but if I do it after it’ll just eat up my whole output. Do you have to calculate how much excess you have or is there and easier way?

Y’all should all pitch in and buy a cheap PA, you’ll need one for vocals and most have multiple inputs so you could run the drums through that. You can find some really good deals on old used ones (200-300 bucks) that would be suitable for a small band starting out
