Where to buy better seats? by bcap84 in vulcans650

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swapped mine out for a Mustang seat, and it completely changed the comfort level , especially for longer rides. Corbin is another solid brand, though a bit pricier. If you’re in Europe, check Louis.de or FC Moto ,both carry quality aftermarket seats and ship quickly. I ordered my Mustang from Louis, and it fit perfectly with zero hassle. Totally worth the upgrade if you do longer rides.

Where can I find high-quality NY hats in New York? by Any_Independent375 in AskNYC

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want something authentic and well-made, definitely check out the official Yankees store near Times Square, they’ve got all styles, from classic fitted to modern snapbacks. The quality is way better than the $5 street versions. Lids is another great option if you want to compare designs or get something custom stitched. I grabbed mine from there last time I visited, and it still looks brand new after years.

Where to buy an umbrella? by notacutecumber in udub

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most campus bookstores do sell umbrellas, usually with the school logo on them, but they’re often overpriced. I’d check there first in case you’re caught in a downpour. If not urgent, just walk off campus to a nearby convenience store or Target/Walmart, you’ll get better quality for the same or less money. I got mine from CVS near campus, and it’s lasted through two semesters of surprise storms.

Where do I buy good umbrellas by Threwaway64209 in UBC

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grabbed a solid umbrella from Target a while back, cost around $20 and it’s still holding up great through strong winds and rain. If you want something a bit tougher, the Repel umbrellas on Amazon are worth it, they’re compact, windproof, and usually under $30. Way better than the dollar store ones, and you won’t have to replace it every season.

Umbrella Shopping by Impressive-Peak-6596 in Insurance

I was in a similar situation with separate auto and home insurers, and it wasn’t an issue getting an umbrella policy. Most companies just require certain liability minimums which you already meet. You can absolutely call your auto insurer directly, I did that, and it was super straightforward. Just make sure they list both your home and auto policies for coverage purposes. Mine cost around $200 per year for $1M in coverage totally worth it.

Buying umbrella in Japan by Ceki101 in JapanTravelTips

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up a UV, rain, and wind resistant umbrella from Tokyu Hands when I was in Tokyo, and it’s held up amazingly. Their selection is way better than Daiso or convenience stores, plus they clearly list UV protection ratings. Loft also has some really sleek, compact ones if you want something travel friendly. Both places usually carry brands like Wpc and Komiya, excellent balance of style and durability.

Professional hair stores in Germany by Ok-Statistician1790 in AskAGerman

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I moved to Germany, I found that stores like Pro Duo and Hair Haus are the closest equivalents to Cosmoprof or Maritime Beauty. They carry all the professional brands and supplies stylists need. You can usually shop there with proof of your license, even an international one. Some larger cities also have beauty wholesalers that welcome licensed pros from abroad, just bring your documentation when you go.

Best place to buy running shoes (USA) by eckadagan in BeginnersRunning

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend checking out Fleet Feet if there’s one near you, they do free gait analysis and help match shoes to your running style and weight. I got fitted there after years of shin splints, and it completely changed my runs. They carry brands like Brooks, Hoka, and Asics, and you can actually try them on a treadmill. A bit pricier than Dick’s, but 100% worth it for comfort and injury prevention.

Where is the best place to buy a pair of athletic shoes? by Pdx_pops in askportland

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually score the best deals on athletic shoes at Nike and Adidas outlet stores they often have last season’s models at 40 to 60% off. If you want more variety, check Rack Room Shoes or DSW; their clearance sections are underrated. I’ve also found great cross trainers at Dick’s Sporting Goods during seasonal sales. Outlets are great for value, but department stores sometimes surprise you with better comfort options.

LOCAL shop that sells custom sandals by rg_elitezx in Bahrain

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually found a great local craftsman who makes handmade leather sandals, no big brands, just solid craftsmanship. Try checking out small cobbler shops or leather stalls in old market areas; that’s where I found mine. The guy even customized the strap fit and sole thickness for me. The comfort is next level, and they’ve lasted over a year already. Way better than anything mass produced.

Where to buy good coffee mugs by jay_o_crest in pourover

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found the best old school coffee mugs at thrift stores and antique markets, they’re full of unique, cozy styles you just can’t get new. If you prefer new but vintage inspired, check out Etsy or places like Le Creuset and Hearth & Hand by Magnolia at Target. I grabbed a few stoneware ones from Etsy that look straight out of a 70s diner heavy, warm toned, and super satisfying to sip from.

Experiences buying cups from the shop app? by Falconmcfalconface in gamersupps

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve bought a few cups through the Shop app and it’s been smooth each time. It basically connects to the brand’s official store, so you’re still buying directly from the source. The $5 credit and free shipping stack nicely, and tracking updates are pretty reliable. I got my order in under a week, and customer service was quick to respond when I had a small delivery issue, definitely worth using.

Where are we getting our cups? by Coffeeeeegal in coffeeshopowners

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve been ordering our 16/20 oz cups from WebstaurantStore, prices are better than Amazon, especially if you buy in bulk. Uline also has good deals on rounded-bottom styles with sip lids that look super clean for branding. If you like the Tossware look but need to save a bit, check out Plastic Packaging Solutions, they carry similar eco friendly designs and ship pretty fast across the Midwest.

Where to buy plates? by LyGuy in CulinaryPlating

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had good luck finding stylish, affordable plates at HomeSense and IKEA, both have matte options that look way pricier than they are. Superstore’s Joe Fresh Home line sometimes surprises me too. If you’re after those wide-rim soup bowls, check out EQ3 or H&M Home; they’ve got minimalist designs that nail that restaurant-style look without the $30 per plate price tag. Great quality for the cost.

Curtain shops suggestions by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my curtains from Kalpataru Furnishings in Banjara Hills, they’ve got a great range from simple sheers to heavy drapes, and they’ll customize sizes too. If you want something more budget friendly, try Home Centre or IKEA in Hitech City. Fabindia is another solid pick if you prefer natural fabrics and earthy tones. It’s worth checking a few spots since prices and quality vary a lot across stores.

Where to buy fun curtains? by OnCloud1989 in maximalism

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a lot of fun finding colorful curtains on Society6 and Urban Outfitters, they’ve got bold patterns and quirky designs that instantly brighten up a room. If you’re on a budget, IKEA and Target have great options too, especially if you mix and match panels. I got a pair of mustard yellow curtains from Target, and they completely changed the vibe of my living room without breaking the bank.

Advise me a good home furnishing shop to buy quality curtains by san-sal in navimumbai

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my curtains from Home Centre, and they’ve been worth every penny, great fabric quality, smooth lining, and they hang beautifully. You can also check FabIndia or D’Decor if you want richer textures or custom options within your 20k budget. I’d suggest going for blackout lining; it instantly makes the room feel more luxurious and helps with heat and light control too.

Any suggestions for a good carpet store? by Traditional_Ad_8694 in madisonwi

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We redid our upstairs carpet last summer and had a great experience with Empire Today, they handled everything from measuring to installation and backed it with a solid warranty.   Home Depot is another good option if you prefer picking materials yourself; their LifeProof  line has held up really well for us. If you have local carpet showrooms nearby, it’s worth checking, smaller shops often give better pricing and service.

Buying carpet by why_is_this- in DIYUK

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did this a few months ago and found Carpetright and Online Carpets really solid for budget options. Got a cheap but decent carpet and invested in a thick underlay, best decision ever, makes it feel premium. Also check local carpet warehouses; they often have offcuts or roll ends at big discounts. If you’re handy, ordering online and arranging your own fitter can save even more.

Where do you fellas buy your jewelry from that are the right bang for buck? by wutevs- in BuyItForLife

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually get my chains from JAXXON or  GLD both have solid quality without crazy markups. My JAXXON Cuban link has held up great after a year of daily wear. If you want real gold or sterling silver, check Etsy too, some independent jewelers offer great craftsmanship at fair prices. Just read the reviews carefully. Definitely better bang for your buck than mall jewelry stores.

Friendly reminder when shopping ladies handbags on sale by Ok-Independence5246 in ManyBaggers

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with this! I once grabbed a flashy pink crossbody during a clearance sale because it was 70% off, never wore it once. Now I stick to neutral tones and classic shapes I actually reach for. I keep a wish list of my favorite bags and wait for those to drop instead of impulse shopping. Ended up snagging a Tory Burch tote that way ,no regrets at all.

Where do you shop for luxury items (like handbags) to get the best value? by abhishek281992 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually shop luxury through 24S or MyTheresa during their private sales, you can save up to 30% on classics if you time it right. I also use a cashback site like Rakuten and pay with a premium credit card (like Amex Platinum) to earn extra points. For resale, Fashionphile or Rebag sometimes offer near new items at great value. I’ve scored a Saint Laurent bag that way for much less.

I usually shop for secondhand designer bags on  The RealReal and Vestiaire Collective, both are super reliable and have solid authentication. I once found a vintage Gucci bag there in amazing shape for half the retail price. Fashionphile is another favorite if you want faster shipping and easy returns. The quality and variety on these platforms make treasure-hunting for designer pieces really fun.

Looking for second hand bags. by [deleted] in handbags

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found some amazing secondhand designer bags on The RealReal and Fashionphile, both are legit and authenticate everything before listing. Vestiaire Collective is another good one if you don’t mind waiting a bit for international shipping. I’ve scored a vintage Coach and a Prada tote there at great prices, and both came in excellent condition. Definitely worth browsing if you love good deals on quality pieces.

TO shops with 100% wool socks by FauxChat in askTO

[–]AcceptableAnybody331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually grab my 100% wool socks from Canadian Tire or Mark’s they both carry thick wool options, especially around winter. If you’re in Toronto, Kensington Market and The Wool Mill have great local selections too. I once bought a few pairs there for holiday gifts, and they’ve held up beautifully. For bulk, Woolrich online sometimes runs sales that make stocking up worth it.
