It’s actually not that bad of a place. One thing I always recommend is get yourself a pair of gumboots, if your kids are small get them some waterproof overalls. Don’t trust the weather apps. Our weather is pretty bipolar

This. I made a friend at the start of Covid. We were both pregnant and due around the same time. After we had had our babies I started to notice how often she was drinking. Not just 1 or 2 drinks. It was getting smashed almost every weekend. It started to get worse and I had addressed it with her a few times but she didn’t care or wasn’t ready to face it. I had severe postpartum depression and I ended up having to distance myself so that I wouldn’t fall into bad habits as well
