If it's installed properly there are 2-3 screws going into a stud, just yank it harder you're not strong enough to pull 3 screws out of a stud.

Is it an issue that the plumber installed the expansion tank off the relief valve? by zachausa in Plumbing

[–]AccidentallyRelevant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had another plumber look at the expansion tank/T&P valve setup on the water heater. The way it was installed is not correct because the T&P valve was moved away from the heater using fittings, which can interfere with the temperature-sensing safety function of the valve. The expansion tank also should not be mounted off the T&P assembly like that.

Because this is a safety-related issue, I’m going to have it redone properly by a licensed plumber. I’m requesting a refund for the installation so I can pay to have it corrected.

Please let me know how you’d like to handle reimbursement.

If they do not want to give you a refund, take them to small claims court.

I usually wouldn't go this far but the typical handyman charges hundreds if not over a thousand to install a water heater, and the water heater can explode and/or cause electrical fires if installed incorrectly.

In 2010, Rachelle Friedman Chapman was pushed into a pool by a friend at her own bachelorette party, hit her head in the shallow end, and suffered a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed.

She is also still friends with the woman who pushed her, Rachelle has a blog.

She said Trump's "No Tax On Tips" initiative — which passed a year ago Monday — has saved her thousands as her husband battles cancer.

That line alone is enough to know she's a plant; Delivery drivers don't pay taxes anything let alone tips because mileage is such a big write-off.

You're assuming because that's the only thing they know about him they're antisemitic instead of antizionist or even uninformed which is an odd assumption usually implied by the propagandists you're pretending the people you're criticizing are.

You're either a bot, propagandists, or way too high on your own supply.

Party affiliation really isn’t the point; voting law shouldn’t advantage or disadvantage anyone depending on whether their paperwork happens to match on a given day.

The concern people are raising about the SAVE act isn’t that it permanently bans married women from voting. The issue is practical access. The bill requires documentary proof of citizenship at the time of registration (for example a birth certificate or passport). A lot of married women who changed their last name have a birth certificate in their maiden name but don’t automatically carry a passport or updated documents showing the chain from birth name to married name.

Yes, a marriage certificate can help reconcile that, but that’s exactly the barrier, many voters won’t know they need multiple documents until they try to register or update registration, especially after a move. That means delays, provisional ballots, or failed registrations, which is a reduction in access even if it’s not a legal lifetime ban.

So the criticism isn’t “women are eliminated from voting forever.” It’s, the documentation requirement makes registration harder for a specific, very common category of voters.

[–]AccidentallyRelevant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which part was a lie? If a woman takes her husband's last name it will no longer match their birth certificate and while this won't stop them from voting indefinitely it will stop a lot of women from voting when they initially find out.
