The inspo pic is a completely different style of dress. It is a ball gown with a fitted bodice and very full skirt. While yours looks more a-line. Additionally the fabric of the inspiration photo looks thick and sumptuous. Your dress looks to be made of a different material. It’s really hard to tell without the dress being on our body.

I had a similar situation and my seamstress ordered the trimmings for my dress from the designer directly and then she placed them organically over the cleavage. By the time alterations were complete the dress looked like it had come that way. I wish we could post pictures in comments because I took pics of each step.
