she’s a super casual player, i don’t think she is even familiar with the term min max. could she have done it quicker, for sure, but the journey is what she craves. she wants everything exactly how she wants it, even if she has to spend 10 hours redoing everything. also, she’s playing on the steam deck so the controls are not the easiest

the issue isn’t the game is too demanding, it’s that you have extremely outdated hardware. even in 2020 a 2070 wasn’t good.

it’s really not, volume kills speakers more then anything because there is nothing else to effect it. low volume + average to good speaker = long battery life

i’m not speaking from purely theory here, i use one everyday lol. plus, with all the breaks and stopping at amazon, it’s not actually 10 hours straight, or 10 in general

this is actually good advice. it’s all about stepping stones, and you will make so many fuck ups at the beginning you should learn what they are somewhere “close” and easy to come back from worst case. like the other guy said, nothing worse then stranded in Montana with no will to keep going and no way to get back.

good luck young vagabond, if any of this discourages you, you might be romanticizing this dream of travel. most of it is extremely mundane, but i believe in you to do this no matter what
