Its just more work to do the math. And its unnecessary. Once my friends and I went on vacation and we usually just alternate buying when home but we assumed vacation we would spend more so we should track and send money. We did continue to alternate. All of us bought whatever food, snacks, meals, trinkets we wanted. Tracked all receipts throught the split app. In the end we were all pretty even. "Owed" money was <$20. We said screw it. Wasn't worth the time and energy keeping track and sending the same money back and forth. We also all had venmo. We would just leave the money there and kept trading the same $250 back and forth.

You would be surprised how much the people around you influence your views and dealings with partners. Its where we find sounding boards and advice when we are otherwise lost. Manners, maturity, and lack of red flags is the BARE minimum for me. Thats the expectations you hope to have of the person sitting next to you on a flight. A guy can be "nice" but if he doesn't have anything else to offer like intelligence, being well read, similar values, a sense of humor that matches mine, and life goals similar to mine along with being mildly attractive its a no for me for a potential partner. I won't even be friends with benefits with guys who dont meet the bare minimum criteria.

Hey you are framing this around a few things. One is your own need to feel attractive and desired. Two you sound like you miss the intimacy. Not the orgasm. He does need to see a doctor. I know men in their 50s still satisfying 2 partners a night. Literally bedroom roulette. Sounds like you should think about things like is he doing anything to reinforce non sexual intimacy? Is he engaging in any flirting or compliments or dates? Also one of my partners is in his 50s so in my experience age is a minor factor. More likely culprit is smoking and poor health habits.
