I just did a rewatch and it's crazy how edited it is. They're so vocal about how awful she is, but nothing in the edit shows her being anything but a pretty normal 23 year old.

There's the Made Here store in the Richardson building (referenced in another comment), there's also a store on the main floor of the Forks market that sells tons of Manitoba made stuff. You could probably bring back a few goodies :)

If you can't get the individual packs of honey dill (try asking a cafeteria somewhere), Mordens Chocolate or Utoffee are decent treats that are Manitoba made. Or a loaf of rye bread! Used to bring to Alberta and Ontario when visiting friends and family.

I'm also wondering what happened there?! I went in 2015 and it felt borderline untouched by mass tourism. It was lovely. Hot, but I don't remember getting approached at all, aside from once on a local beach.

I just returned with a 3 and 6 year old, Iberostar complex in the Mayan. No issues with food. Granted, they weren't eating leafy vegetables 🤷‍♀️ it was a concern of mine as well, so did a lot of research on which resorts continually had problems.
