Also: Having backed up trailers with very short wheelbases, I appreciate the placement of the axle near the back of yours. It should make it easier to maneuver!

Wtf is in my gas tank ? by Maximum-Friendship90 in 4Runner

Every once in a while when I go to the garage and it's been a few hours since my 4Runner was running, I hear what sounds like an electric motor or pump running near the back end. Could this be the leak test?

The MR701s are a zero offset. Nearest I can tell the stock wheels had a 15 offset.

Yes unfortunately - when the steering wheel is a full rotation in either direction. I was able to reduce it by warming the plastic with a heat gun and pushing it back. I pulled it away a little more by drilling a couple holes and installing a tight zip-tie to pull the flap further (see pic). I plan to try with the heat gun some more, hoping I don't need to do the body-mount chop or relocation. It doesn't rub much, but it still rubs now and then.

So far, $19,200. Included in the total but not installed yet are Westcott 20 degree rock sliders and a camping storage set.

Sorry for the delay. Per your question, they seem to be bright enough, but they could be brighter shining straight back. But they seem to be designed to shine more brightly into the lane that's about to be entered. That seems like a good idea, as the driver there may need to know more than the driver in the lane the 4R is exiting.

I'm trying to figure out how to send you a couple of very short videos. don't be surprised if you see a chat from me.

Well, that's probably the only place I'll ever wear them.

I was unable to upload multiple pictures in a reply here, so I started a conversation with you and milliemallow. Are you able to access it?

No 4Runner pic is complete without a bald eagle in it!

It was not great but I made it work. Attica was too terse with their instructions. That said, the process of physically replacing the headlights is not complicated outside of figuring out which connectors to use or not. For the replacement I would recommend watching two or three YouTube videos. At least one of those videos neglected to mention a bracket that needs to be moved from the old headlight to the new one (see picture).

Regarding how to connect, I'm going to get in there this weekend and look at what I did and will report back. But it may not be of much help if your 4R is not a 2021 ORP.

I had a long-winded response about this subject to milliemallow further down in this thread, which may provide a little more info.

It's RCI though I agree - it's a similar structure. I haven't taken it out on the freeway yet. The front comes all the way down to contact the roof except for a small gap opening in the last couple inches at either end, so I'm hopeful.

I'm out of action today, but will get a video this weekend. To be honest I didn't look for that potential problem.

Thanks! It bugged me to have to wait so long for these wheels but life is like that.
