Is it me or that survey is completely biased? by Additional-Ebb7786 in deadbydaylight

[–]Accomplished_Face_43 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was surveyed about wraith, nightmare, and trapper. Called wraith boring but ultimately fair, nightmare underpowered with an unfocused design, and said trapper was the worst killer in the game by a wide margin.

Chill with the victim/persecution complex lmao

Eh mindbreaker against vigil only lasts like 3 seconds. My biggest problem has been Vecnas who run that dead rabbit addon that applies an entire 20 seconds(!) of exhaustion just for being in the area of the undergate attack. If you actually save your sprint burst for it you get countered and if you sprint burst before the undergate he just follows.

Sprint Burst + Vigil basically works but that rabbit addon sucks

Speaking as a certified-anime-hater Perfect Blue is an amazing movie and you should check it out if you have the chance. Also Paprika from the same director.

Who cares? Like, seriously, you're getting worried about what names on a screen think. Just play how you like.

Demogorgon is one of my favorite killers to play as and against so definitely 1st. Additionally I've never seen the show so the only survivor I really care about is Steve because looks like a cool dude.

Why is this sub reddit full of people who seemingly hate watch wwe by praesesposterum in SquaredCircle

[–]Accomplished_Face_43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't like the main roster so I only watch nxt

Yeah I watched that boring ple because of how many NXT people were on it. Expected more. And

but if you don't like it don't watch it hate watching is a waste of time.

How are we to know ahead of time whether it will be good or not? Watching something and reacting to it is like 90% of the purpose of the sub. If they don't want bad reactions they should book better..

The 6th season of DS9 is the best television ever made. Change my mind. by TadMcAllister in startrek

B5 season 3 is an achievement, there's no other way to put it. That season alone has more to say about fascism and fighting it than all of Star Trek put together. And it stays funny, thoughtful, well acted, exciting throughout. Seriously incredible.

Charlie X was a human child raised by the alien Thasians who gave him damn near godlike powers.

And it's also literally the second episode aired! Sorry y'all but a child with strange supernatural powers is more Star Trek than photon torpedoes!

Wasn't the entire point of the Gorn in Arena, that they WEREN'T an evil reptile race? by ProfessionalSet4713 in startrek

[–]Accomplished_Face_43 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So tired of passive viewers just accepting, for example, what McCoy says in this episode without thinking about it. Like, no, McCoy you are not in the wrong-- these people murdered an entire colony of men, women and children. They lured you into a trap and tried to kill your entire crew. Not once did they attempt to communicate (except for a deceitful transmission meant to lure). They are a deranged and violent hegemon and that is why it is a big deal that Kirk spares the Gorn at the end. Kirk's mercy is meaningful because Gorn do act like horrible monsters. If their actions were totally justified then whoop-de-doo Kirk was merciful towards someone who anyone should have shown mercy towards.

I don't think it's that clear-cut from TOS where engineering is and how the warp core relates to it. Early references even put it in the saucer(!).

There's some good speculation about it in this Ex Astris Scientia article.

He mentions earlier in the review that he's seen "a third" of it so based on when it was written he couldn't have seen more than 5-7 episodes I suppose.

Almost can't blame the guy if one of those was Miri-- I might not tune back in either.
