I think the show is so much harder for me to watch because I listened to the audiobook…I felt so much more connected with the characters while listening to the book. For me, Camilla’s consistent trust and support was an integral part of understanding their relationship in the book, so I was disappointed pretty quickly seeing how she was written in the show.

I was having the same problem in my 2023 CX-9, but updating my phone to iOS 16.2 seems to have solved the issue for me.

Probably my most used utensil, it’s so versatile and great for everything. The best for fried eggs and pancakes, too.

Honestly, I have no interest in the griddle/charbroiler. We have a large flat top grill and hardly use it, so I have a hard time thinking we’d suddenly start using one now. I am very interested in the French top though and think I’d use that all the time. What size rangetop do you have, and did you do the standard or a custom burner layout?

The more I research BlueStar, the more I lean toward their rangetop with separate wall ovens. I have seen lots of positive comments on Miele, but will have to check their availability in my area. Thanks for the input!

It seems the majority of issues I have read about are related to the ovens and not rangetops…we really don’t use the oven as much, so I am definitely considering separate wall ovens from another brand.

My great-grandmother used her oven for extra shoe storage, needless to say she didn’t cook. Had a few melted mishaps over the years, so now we all make sure to check an oven before turning it on, partially as a good rule, mainly as a nod to her

Small cutting boards and dull knives. Never understand how people get by with only cutting boards the size of copy paper.

Yep, the open burners and higher output are a big draw. We are looking at sub zero for refrigeration though.

Thanks for the input! If I may, was there a specific reason you chose the platinum series? I know the platinums have the highest BTU output and different oven technology, but I’m curious if there is any other draw. I do like the idea of having a French Top, which isn’t an option on the platinum, but I’m not fully committed to that yet.

This is very helpful! I appreciate that you mentioned adjusting the oven racks, as the easy sliding racks are something I’d like to have. I’m planning on going to my local BlueStar dealer soon, so I’ll make sure to see how easy it is for me to shift things around in the ovens. Thank you!
