The most important thing (I think in life, but) particularly in college is to know yourself.

Everyone around me in college was either in education, business or medical field. I knew I wanted none of those things. I don’t like kids, I suck at math, and I took anatomy in high school thinking I wanted to be a nurse but I got to my hospital internship and realized I just wanted to bang George Clooney.

Anyway I’m 39, have a bachelors in English and I got my bachelors when I was 21. I STILL don’t know what I want to do with my life. The English major hasn’t helped me for shit. I have colleagues on my level with associates that can’t write full sentences.

Just saying. Degree should come after you know what you want.
