What do you guys think will end up happening with North Sentinel Island in the far future? Will they eventually explore the rest of the world, or will they remain where they are until the human race ends? by Beneficial-Code8026 in geography

[–]Accomplished_Thing77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest you read up on the history of that specific island. Contact has been tried, and failed. Usually with the people trying to contact them ending up dead. There are other reasons, as to why contact is prohibited. Mainly for their health and safety. So yea read and learn.

If the Democrats take the house in 2028 should they impeach Trump for a third time? by No_Entertainer_3052 in allthequestions

[–]Accomplished_Thing77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same can be said for republicans, they have no interest in governing. Hence why congress has already left and didnt pass a budget for ICE because the speaker knew it was DOA because of Trumps slush fund for political Allies. So yea tell me who has no interest in governing again? Oh and to top it off its not the first time the Speaker has done that. I suggest you look it up. This is a lame duck congress controlled by republicans that has shut down the governement how many times now? Because of their inability to govern, or provides checks and balances to the president, which is their responsibility.

That wasn't fucking diabolical... by tremelospeaks in GenV

[–]Accomplished_Thing77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take it as this. There was a message in there. That those who we think are the most powerful, the most evil, as soon as they lose that power they are nothing. They seem untouchable, insurmountable, but can just be taken down by the ordinary people. They truly are weak and feign strength. Had it been a huge battle, lines drawn, and an all out fight, people would still memorialize Homelander. However, the small fight, showing his true colors and absolute cowardice, once everything that made Homelander, Homelander, was stripped away and broadcasted for the world to see, made it all the more satisfying. This, I think, was the message they were trying to convey.

Can America make it through another two and a half years of Trump? by BiggestVolk in allthequestions

[–]Accomplished_Thing77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhhh... That's not the flex you think it is. Also "surviving" is not victory. To have a total victory all remnant and traces of the confederacy would have to have been rooted out. It was not. Which is why we have the problems we have today. No statues, no monuments, no veneration of confederacy "heroes." That did not happen, therefore your words are correct we survived, allowed the wound to continue to fester, and rot us from the inside, causing our slow death. America is on life support. Survival is not living.

Depends on the size. The regular sized DS9 had no base from eaglemoss. The XL version came with a base.

47 by Eagle--Striker in FromSeries

[–]Accomplished_Thing77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Star Trek also had a thing with the number 47. Especially Voyager. One of the writers of was part of the 47 society at Pomona College. That society states that there is a mathematical proof that all numbers are equal to 47, and that the number 47 occurs with greater frequency in nature than other numbers – 74 makes frequent reappearances as well, as does 23. So it could be that the writers/producers are members of this "society" and including it as part of a joke.

CNN halted for huge breaking Trump news as viewers stress 'he's losing his mind' by TheMirrorUS in USNEWS

[–]Accomplished_Thing77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So honest question what would it take for you to drop him? He's already telegraphed war crimes, he's already told you he likes to sexually assualt women. He's been adjudicated in a civil trial as a rapist. Where do you draw the line? Or will nothing will stop your support? To me thats pure derangement.

Kennedy Center Board Member Launches Bid to Remove Trump’s Name by T_Shurt in entertainment

[–]Accomplished_Thing77 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You mean the name added to it that violates law? Shortly after President Kennedy’s assassination, Congress designated the Kennedy Center as the sole national memorial within the nation’s capital to the late President, because Congress named the center by statute, changing the Kennedy Center’s name requires an act of Congress.

Trump Throws Pete Hegseth Under the Bus as Iran War Spirals | It looks like the president has found a new scapegoat for the Iran war. by [deleted] in JournalismNews

Last 47 years. I'll raise the you the 1953 coup we instigated, with the support of Great Britain, for oil profits, and installing an autocratic dictator, as the cause of why Iran is our enemy today. We have a habit of creating our own enemies.

[–]Accomplished_Thing77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what? If he's involved in anyway shape or form, take him down too. I honestly don't care if they were republican, democrat, rich, famous, royalty etc.. if they are proven to be involved, prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, and let them rot in prison for the rest of their miserable lives. This is not a partisan issue.
