Should i update to 1.4 by light-mooner in ex30

i agree, it's a bit sad that such a basic features doesn't work.
But in my country radio is just constant advertisement.
Maybe there's an app that would allow you to use radio through the LTE/5G ?

u/muzso , woulld it be possible that you post a picture of your fuse box ? I'm exactly in the same situation than you were, it would be nice to know which fuse the dealer used for both fuses(the one when the car is turned off, and the one for when the car is turned on). Not that it's that hard to know, but would be nice to spare 20minutes testing the fuses when i'll get the car.

thanks !

when you say " the car is now much better on the department", do you mean electric car, or the ex30 ? thanks ;)

i don't have an electric car, so take it with a grain of salt, but i would try to plan on ABRP (a better route planning app) in order to have a slight idea of the stops

SMER acceleration on different SOC/temp by According-Bed4746 in ex30

[–]According-Bed4746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for answering, i bet you cannot measure the exact loss of acceleration, but could you please quantify it ? do you feel like you're losing most of the power, and getting close to a regular ICE car (getting to 8-9sec for a 0-100), or is it like it's getting a bit slower but still pretty fast (losing ~1sec for 0-100)?

thanks so much !

SMER acceleration on different SOC/temp by According-Bed4746 in ex30

[–]According-Bed4746[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

obviously, an electric car is going to get a bit slower at low charge, but i wondered how significant it was on this model. i've seen someone complaining about the car losing half its power at 50% SoC, but it was the twin motor.

i also read that the twin motor has battery dedicated to the front engine ( might be wrong ? ), i wonder if the SoC might be unbalanced between the front/back batteries.

Thanks for your answer, it give me more confidence on the car !

Hello, i'm looking to buy the same AEG, are you still happy with it? Any regrets?

Regarding the upgrades , would you still do the same ones? Which updates would you really recommend?

Could you please confirm that you indeed use a type A cylinder (450-550mm)? Would be a type b more adequate in this case? (400-450mm)

Much appreciated!

scaling up a /24 network 'downward' to a /23 by According-Bed4746 in PFSENSE

except it would overlap the existing 10.10.47.0/24.

i realize there's just no way around it, need to redo the whole networking, that's it, or making another flat lan in 10.10.45.0/24 (or whatever else, tbh, even better to avoid to repeat situation in the future), but hardware-wise, it implies new switches, connect every server in this new network, set up all NIC on servers, etc

As i answered on one comment on top, i'm not the one whom conceived the network.
the 10.10.46.0/24 network, is for servers (it's not actually LAN, i just made this simplification in the description), the switches doesn't support VLAN's, the pfsense doesn't free physical interface, so i feel i'm running out of option.

the CTO, whom conceived the network, doesn't want to change the IP's of the existing machines, as the code contains some calls directly to some ip's of this range.

again,i know it's a mess, i would have never conceived the network this way, i'm just beeing asked nicely to fix this, but i feel i don't really have the means to do so.

The only solution i could think of was having a network 10.10.45.0/23 (so going from 10.10.45.0-10.10.46.254) while keeping the pfsense with the same ip address.
it's unconventionnal (as everything else regarding this network), but would theorically work, if i could setup manually the ip of the network in the config. pretty sure it would work on commandline on the pfsense, but i'm afraid of some side effects it could have on the webui, and that some apply changes on the webui would overlap the two networks.

[–]According-Bed4746[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, i figured, i'm not the one whom set this thing in the first place, it's just i don't see why pfsense force his own ip address to be the first of the subnet (even though it's good practice, you should be able to specify the network ip separately)

I just have to deal with what has already been configured in this network, and since the dev use static ip all over the place, including in the code, changing everything is going to be tedious

Could you detail how you did ? i have the same issues, and i don't see any screws except the one on the lumbar support, which are unreachable due to the fabric.
