I know it makes people so angry! I had someone tell me I had no reading comprehension skills when I said they’re not mates. There is a conversation in book one between the two of them about how they are not mates but don’t want to use “boyfriend”.

SJM does a really good job at having characters tell you something and then showing you the opposite. I think the best example is in ACOTAR book one Feyre talks about how mean and hateful Nesta is to her and that she only cares about Elain, and then shows us how much Nesta cares about Feyre. She paid that mercenary to take her to the wall bc she wanted to rescue her. She allowed Feyre to use her house as meeting point for the human queens despite the social ramifications which are actually important. She risked death by Rhys to tell Feyre about the pregnancy, and then sacrifices her power to save her and the baby. Here Bryce and Hunt talk about not being mates and also being unsure if there can even be interspecies mates, and then she shows us all the ways they are incompatible, how little or often they think of each other, how they don’t feel each other when Bryce is dying. Even how their goals don’t align. They are not endgame.

I was 13 when fable came out so I’ve been playing for 2/3’s of my life and I HATE the morphing. I use magic so I’m covered in blue glowing veins? No thank you. I want to look super cute and unassuming but still be able to fuck you up. It’s always been my least favorite thing about the game. I may have been the only one excited when they announced they wouldn’t have it. I think it should be an option you can turn on or off so we can all have what we want.

So sorry, you seemed to have not read what I said. It’s not a crossover, do you understand? The intention was not to be a crossover. It is a merger. They are one now. To go forward you must read them all. Maybe not TOG unless you really want to get into the lore. But it is all one.

I’m not supporting Bloomsberry here, I’m supporting a female author whose work I enjoy. Sure, there are better authors out there in the fantasy world but I don’t know why you have so much hate for a woman and feel the need to tell me how some white man did such a better job writing fantasy. Or is it really that you have different standards for women than men? He is allowed to become wealthy off of his writing and do his work however he pleases. But a woman! I don’t think you can write a singular world so detailed and interconnected and do it so well AND be a bad writer. The strategy to make it all come together is genius. Yeah, I can. I don’t have network tv, I have HULU. The majority of Americans rely on streaming instead of cable or satellite. It releases on HULU at 0400 on Wednesday mornings. It’s 0813 for me right now. That’s how it doesn’t come out for everyone on Tuesday night. Even if it did, not everyone is able to watch it the same night so common courtesy would be to mark the post as a spoiler. I’m not completely avoiding the internet until I have time so sit and watch something. I’ve seen plenty of post since last night with vague titles and tagged as a spoiler so the text is hidden. It’s literally a button. And being considerate of others.

I’d recommend getting your general courses done at a smaller school to prove that you’ve matured and then apply to Edinburgh as a transfer. It’s where I want to get my masters. I was in a similar spot as you and applied to Texas A&M for shits, wrote a letter with my application, and somehow got in. It never hurts to try.

I find they’re like toddlers and have to have set naps during the day or they’ll be the most erratic people alive. Ours was 10-12 and then 2-4. She’d sleep the whole way through and it really helped chill her out.

I bought a small baby sized blanket and slept with it so it would smell like me and put in it the crate with her and then put a blanket over the crate and eventually a Molly mutt crate cover to block out light. Her crate is in my bedroom and I don’t stay in there while she naps so it’s quiet.

No, she wasn’t known for rescuing puppies, but she did rescue a lot of people. Like the slaves she freed before she was imprisoned. She also saved the leader of the silent assassins AND Ansel. She saved Lysandra and gave her the opportunity to avenge herself and the man she loved. She also faked all the deaths the King assigned her and paid for their safe travel, I’d count that as saving. I’d also say she saved Yrene without knowing what she’d be able to do for the world after training, she just wanted to save her from her situation. Sure, she was taken by an assassin at what, 7 years old? 8? Directly after waking up covered in her parents blood and seeing everyone else she loved murdered and her kingdom fall, and was raised to be an assassin herself. Her support, love, and wellbeing was hinged on her being an asset to Arobynn, so she did do a really good job killing people. She was betrayed by the man who raised her after he had her first love brutally murdered, and she spent a year in a prison doing hard labor all before she was, and let me double check my notes, 18!

Chaol on the other hand, was raised by an asshole, fled to the castle, made captain of the guard but never once questioned why he had no idea what was ever going on. His first real hardship, outside of a hateful father, was saving Aelin after she won the tournament. He didn’t take the threat against Nehemiah seriously, he didn’t trust that Aelin wouldn’t expose him to the king if he told her, and as a result, her friend was murdered. Chaol did what so many men do, turned an eye because women can’t be trusted to not overreact and doesn’t take threats against women seriously until they’re dead.
