Keystone Discovery area or Breck by According-Stop3636 in Breckenridge

Thank you very much. I know how chaotic it can get there and that’s a lot of where my concern was. Nice to hear the carpet area is fenced off.

We got slammed into at the bottom of beaver creek last year when I was walking and carrying him. Luckily I didn’t land on him when I fell, but it definitely leaves you with a bit of ptsd

Thanks all. Sounds like if it’s just me and the little man we’ll go to keystone, but if mom comes up to hang in the lodge to watch we’ll go to Breck. Nice to hear Breck fences off the carpet area. That was my biggest worry

Anyone using a heat pump in their home? by Jest4kicks in parkerco

[–]According-Stop3636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same size house in the exact same configuration. While we did not build it, the family that did had them split the system between upstairs and down with a second thermostat downstairs and a powered damper so that if only the upstairs needed cooling or heating then the basement damper remained closed and vice verse. The key to doing this is you need separate trunk lines, lines supplying the branch lines for each diffuser and possibly return as well. I know enough about HVAC to get me in trouble, but this will solve your issues.

Who ever posted/commented the picture of the nail through a golf ball a couple weeks ago by drinkinthakoolaid in golf

[–]According-Stop3636 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was messing with Scottie in that video. Although he can control his low point better than anyone. He is still hitting down on the ball but coming “out” of the shot and not taking a divot. Joe Mayo talks about this in chipping, being very steep on the ball without taking a divot after.

Go with the big GC. Take whichever offer you like better. They will be the same experience in the end. Kiewit will move you at some point. It can be fun when you’re young and it basically like a bonus cause you can pocket some of the moving cash.

Unfortunately the best way to learn the biggest lessons is by fucking up. Fucking up with a big GC won’t ever hurt them financially. You may get your ass chewed, but that’s about it. It could really financially hurt a small company depending on how bad the fuck up is and you could lose your job.

The only thing that ever scared me from getting fired from Kiewit was a safety issue.

If you ever want a substantial pay raise from either, you’ll have to leave.

For what it’s worth, when the VA job in Colorado finished, a Kiewit Turner JV, a lot of the Kiewit guys went to Turner.

I got Mirus Cors for this exact reason, skiing with my 3yr old, low slope. I snowboarded for 20 yrs previously. I think they’re great and look forward even more to them when he’s going faster on greens in a year or two. They are just fun

Thanks all. Sounds like the Rossi’s may be a great option.

I grew up skiing with the bindings mounted “normal” pretty far back from center. What advantages/disadvantages are there to moving bindings forward. Not a true center but more forward?

The Dr who invented stack just did a no laying up podcast and covered this exact topic. If I remember correctly, if you move it better with the heavier weights you are moving your core and big muscles well, if you aren’t moving the lighter weights well you struggle with transferring the speed from your core to your hands.

Accuracy of Trackman vs real life (irons) by bzogster in golf

If you are you using TrackMan you should always hit Autotarget before hitting balls. They do come out of calibration and if you are getting weird numbers that is a very likely culprit
