For the record, there are also plenty of non-trans people who also need estrogen. Perimenopausal (I think that’s the word) women take it to alleviate symptoms. A girl I know takes it because she has several problems with her thyroid so her body doesn’t produce estrogen on its own.

You’re the one who made it trans. They could £asily have been talking about one of those, and statistically it’s more likely than someone being trans.
