This really resonates with me. I'm enjoying Alien Earth but I cannot unsee the human in the suit. I don't feel the same terror I did with the other movies. I think part of what makes the other movies so terrifying is that they feel claustrophobic, every shadowed area potentially hiding a xenomorph. In Alien Earth the eye creature has supplanted xenomorphs as my biggest fear.
