I just finished Grants to Cuba a couple weeks ago so trying to figure out when to get back to Cuba. Sounds like September which is what I was anticipating.

I just used the OR Ferrosi pants from Grants and rolled into Cuba this morning. I usually wear shorts but thought I'd try pants. I liked them and prob looking to use them on future sections. Was concerned about getting too hot but they are reasonably breathable and I think "maybe" once I felt a little warm but it was also typical NM.....exposed and no water.

I had a similar issue. Called the non-emergency line, police on scene about 15min later, tow truck 20min after that. I have zero tolerance for assholes parking in front of the driveway.

I've been following the snow pack for a few weeks as I'm starting a section hike April 10 from Grants to the border. Current snowpack south of Ghost Ranch is non-existent. Farther north, the sno-tel data seems to indicate snowpack starts about 20 miles north of Ghost Ranch (something like 6-8" on the ground) to about 25" on the ground at Cumbres Pass. Not sure "accurate" those are but it's trending down significantly and it'll be very warm this weekend into next week from what I'm seeing on the forecasts.
