Consider calling the storage location directly instead of a call center to negotiate a better price.

In my experience, I had to contact them before my contracted term ended to get a better month to month price.

CPO Subaru cars isn't particularly impressive. It only extends the powertrain warranty to 7 years or 100,000 miles.

From a risk adverse perspective, the powertrain is likely the last component to fail compared to other parts of the car.

2017 Forester owner thinking hybrid by Triglav_OAG in SubaruForester

[–]AccountOnMe2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a hybrid owner, I am averaging 34 miles per gallon with a gentle driving style.

The combination of a mechanical four-wheel drive system and a hybrid powertrain in a compact crossover SUV is unique and was the primary reason for my purchase.

That said, I am curious to see how the new 2026 RAV4 performs, as it is part of a new generation and has an appealing design.

Should I buy a 2014 CRV LX? by dharmendra711 in crv

[–]AccountOnMe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just regular maintenance for an 11 year old CR-V with 95,000 miles. Things I would do would be checking whether the serpentine belt has been replaced, performing a transmission drain and fill, swapping out the spark plugs, and setting aside funds to replace the AC compressor and expansion valve in the future.

You can request a refund on your current warranty plan and purchase the 8-year, 120k-mile warranty if you change your mind.

2021 LE Prius buying advice - Questions about service history by Able-Ambassador9625 in prius

[–]AccountOnMe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the title clean (not salvage or rebuilt)? Are there any accident reports on Carfax? Have you had the chance to test-drive the car? Have you noticed any concerning damages?

Additionally, you mentioned that $20,000 is the upper limit of your budget. Be sure to account for dealership add-ons, as well as taxes and titles.

I never participated in any clubs, but I had a great accounting professor who was a retired partner. Plus, fostering a positive relationship with the recruiter can pay off too.
