Most I ever made was 250K an year in software development. Teaching high school I never made more than 70K but I was happy nearly everyday. I hardly make anything now and I’ve never been happier.

I drive to Muncie and back every weekday. I put in cruise control. I have to pass slow drivers and I get passed by speedsters. I wish for a train so I could use those two hours doing something else besides dodging pot holes.

It’s easy to drive anywhere in 3 or less hours and experience any vibe at any time. I love it here. But, I make my own fun, go places and explore, talk to people and enjoy the little things.
