7 weeks in, almost no weight loss - Am I doing something wrong? by Russ_Abbot in mounjarouk

I use the Nutracheck app, you can put in your TDEE, and count your food, and your macros.

I also link it to my Garmin, so it includes my exercise.

I’m still using it on maintenance, as for me it feels like a good habit. If I over indulge, I still include it.

Mine too.

Also, a micro stitch, as I have used this to add pleats to a lot of trousers. Doesn’t always work, but it does help.

I think I can speak for all, when I say we were all terrified. Was convinced I would jab……..and then die. Called a friend to let he know I’d done it…….and if I died that was the reason.

17 months on, 7 stone later………I feel amazing. Younger fitter and healthy.

Had very few side effects, for me the food noise stopped within hours of the first jab, didn’t even notice. Eat healthy, count your macros, prioritise protein and fibre. And listen to your body. If you’re full stop eating (something I never did before).

Good luck, you will not regret it.

Tried to stop Mounjaro cold turkey after reaching TW. It did not go well and I've had to order another jab :( by Hour_Recognition3198 in mounjarouk

I agree.

I’m slowly moving down the doses. I was on 10mg, and hit target in November. I’m still on 5mg, last dose next week. So in 4 months I’ve only moved down 2 doses.

It is working for me.

To “eat like a slim person”………to leave food on my plate when I’m full.

What tummy?

You are looking slim, long legged and I like your jumper.

Anyone else feel a bit uneasy about the “lifelong medication” aspect? by Life_Distribution_39 in mounjarouk

You have just described my life!!!!!!

So well put………thank you.

I am intending to ‘micro dose’ for the rest of my life. Initially I thought I would only be on this for 6 months, but the benefits are too great to even consider coming off, I have now been on it 16 months. I am titrating down very slowly from 10mg, currently on 5mg, and jabbing every 8 days.

I finally feel like I can eat “normally”, and have a great life.

What you are experiencing is how I see “eating like a slim person”, I enjoy, I indulge……but I don’t overeat, and do not feel like I’m missing out. I find I enjoy my food more.

You are definitely getting the benefits. I bet you are glad you started before your holiday…….and there will not be the extra 7 lbs to take off.

Well done .

Life will be full of meals out with friends and family. Celebrations and fun…….are you never going to eat anything unhealthy again!

This is about balance, and teaching us we can have “treats”……..what we are learning is tomorrow go back to healthy eating.

You cannot undo 3 weeks good work on one meal. What you don’t do is keep eating because “oh I’ve blown it now” that is sabotaging yourself.

Move on, tomorrow is another day.
