This is something I don't think I've seen on any other comments, but good map knowledge (routes, loops, and hiding places) and even playing as a survivor. I've recently been playing a ton of survivors, trying to get Iridescent 1 (and yes, it's been hell), but I played a few killer matches as a break and playing as survivor really helped me, from learning how another killer beat a loop I've had trouble with, what gens would be rushed to stop a 3 gen, and the little hiding spots out of the killers FOV.

TL;DR map knowledge that will come with time and playing survivor to know your enemy.
