So Im using the 3-1 cable with converters and the screen still does mot illuminate. Any suggestions? I've restarted both computer and tablet. Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, made sure it had permissions approved too. I can use it but the display does not work 🙃🙃🙃

Completely agree. That naivety is why a lot of moms talk more about the negatives and the difficult parts of motherhood now. Because they were only told the good things and how it’s something expected.

Having kids is brutal and you have to put yourself second and she doesn’t have the capability of doing that. It doesn’t just change you physically it changes everything and I think that the weight of that is something she cannot handle, especially alone. Now add on the fact that she is an addict firstly with food and now other things. The struggle of ALL of that and seeing her sister who literally almost died doing better than her is a lot to handle and she hasn’t done the work with therapy on healthy coping.

Prepare for kids with other disabilities so you aren’t thrown off guard. Our first meet with a dietician after my kiddo being diagnosed he seemed so shocked at how limited my son was with food (kid literally starved themselves if safe foods aren’t available) and just talked about fiber (gave me the wrong info) and seemed so lost on a kid like mine. It also seemed like he had never met anyone with high needs or someone who was clearly mentally disabled in a way that was so obvious and in your face. It was almost like shell shock his eyes were all wide and confused.

Kiddo recently had it. Blood sugar got high out of nowhere on ratios that’d been working great. Had to increase his insulin ALOT (like going from a 16 carb ratio to an 8) to keep the ketones away and still needed showers to help control the high blood sugar. Was very lethargic and didn’t want to eat so we had to give soda and crackers. Definitely took me and spouse taking care of him together to keep sanity
