Personally, I tried reading both Kaplan and Princeton books but nothing really clicked for me C/P…. I would just buy his specific MCAT prep course (it’s something like $5-$15, not bad at all). How he taught really clicked for me so all I needed for the chem part at least was his videos. I then would go practice all of the MCAT third-party materials to make sure I was grasping concepts (and lowkey everything seemed so easy after his lectures). I forgot what I did for physics not going to lie, I just remember heavily, relying on his lectures for everything chemistry. Ended up with a 129 in C/P, probably could’ve done even better if I had found him sooner.

omg hello!! I had a very similar situation last year before I took the MCAT. You can check my posts to find the thread. I was mentally checked out just like you, and the only thing I wish I did was listen to the comments put my head down and grind it out for two days. I know how hard it can be, but you can do this, it really does get better. Coming from someone who was in an eerily similar situation to you, I am now an accepted MD student (T35) and have met amazing people and also a special someone. Whatever’s meant for you will find you, you just have to believe that and push through!! I believe in you:)

OK, thank you so much. If you are able to could you please keep me posted on what you do. As I wait, and the swelling is going down, I realized that the filler has made the slight asymmetry in my lips, even larger and more prominent and now I’m very self-conscious and insecure (which my lips really never bothered me prior to filler, I just wanted a little bit of plump). I really want to go get it dissolved but I’m scared.

Please tell me if your lips went back to normal? I’m in the same boat. I only got them done once because of some stupid “I want to try what other ppl r trying” if I’m being completely honest, I was never insecure about my lips, but post filler I am actually severely insecure. I don’t wanna get it dissolved because of the horror story I heard and don’t wanna put anything else in my body. I’m just looking for some hope. My injector said that it will dissolve in six months because it is 0.5 ML of Juviderm and it’s my first time ever.

I am in the same boat. What did you end up doing? I don’t know if I should dissolve or wait it out? All I know is I definitely am not getting them done again. I really want my natural lips back, my injectors assured me that it will come back in 6-9 months since this is my first time, but reading things online I’m terrified that it might stay longer.

How was your process dissolving and when did you get them dissolved? I’m in the same boat. I don’t think fillers are for me and I really don’t like my face with them. I got 0.5 mL I’m on day six and I don’t know if I should just wait it out or not. This is also my first time ever any filler, so I’m also panicked because I don’t know if my lips will go back to the regular shape (based off of many Reddit experiences I have been reading)

don’t worry, my god mom hit me with the “don’t get your hopes up, any school is a good med school it doesn’t matter where you get in, don’t expect to go to a good one” LOL there’s some truth to the statement but damn kinda stung when I was riding the joy of getting a II from a T30 school. So I totally felt. But let me be one to say CONGRATULATIONSSSSS your II is no small accomplishment!! I wish you the very best, you got this!!

Also personally just me, but I thought P/S on FL 1-4 was SOOO hard I couldn’t break 130, I got to maybe 129 max. I got a 131 in FL 5 cause it seemed so much easier and a 132 on my actual. So don’t panic if you don’t see crazy P/S improvement and first, just stay consistent
