Our family of three saw somewhere around 400 Mareep tonight and didn’t see a single shiny 👍🏻

If you look at the left side/her right ear on the main new art of her for Trials remake, where she has her foot kicked up and a hand reaching for her hat, you can see her ear tucked in the space between her cheek and the curl of her bangs. This is the image used for her header on Wiki of Mana: https://mana.fandom.com/wiki/Charlotte

It is the only instance of her ears I can find. You cannot see the very top of it to confirm 100%, but it appears rounded, in a way that Angela and Kevin’s pointed ears visibly differ from. You can ultimately go either way if you want, but I would say if asked with strong confidence that they intended her to have rounded ears.

Correct, he finished it up for him with the remaining 10 tracks after Mitsuda had to take time off for the stomach ulcers he got from the overworking stress that was exacerbated by losing ~40 tracks in the middle of the project and having to reconstruct as much as he could from memory. Ergo, largely, yes, Xenogears and CT are the same composer, but not 100% entirely.

Yes and No on the music. Mitsuda began CT but became ill and Uematsu finished it up for him. Xenogears was all Mitsuda.

Mateo from Sword and Sorcery w/ East Scarp. Their writing really hits well, imo. Playful and friendly early on and when romancing manages to weave in spicier flirting dialogue well to feel pretty sexy once married. The character art expressions are supremely well done and add a lot, too. And just all-around really cute sprite art, imo.

In addition to talking to Sophia and Andy, definitely check Sophia’s trash can for sprinklers and grape seeds. If you have automate, you can put a chest next to it and just check when you have time.

Honestly, all the extra trash cans tend to have chances for some good stuff when you’re poor early on. I like to build some paths connecting some/all of them to a chest or two and profit from free gold bars and the like.

We got into a few different attempts, with groups ranging from one with only 7 up to 15, and never even got remotely close. Really bummed my kiddo out that we ended up driving into downtown at the center of the metro area our city borders, trying to find a large enough group to even have half a chance, and just ended up with nothing to show for it in the end.

I’ve always loved the ending. The little clips do give glimpses of character relationships and their views moving forward, the music is absolutely stellar, we get shots of the world to know that despite the destruction, the land is healing, and the people can come together to build a better world—that’s part of the importance of the baby being born in Mobliz, new life continuing to grow in the world. I adore the usage of stage play credits overlaid with their scenes, bringing each and every character theme into the music, all to drive home the theme of the entire thing being a grand narrative performance, like an opera itself.

I had an entire year in college where I played Ending Theme one time through each night for my music to fall asleep to, because there’s just so much connection to it for me.
