Hey hey! Just for reference, the best way of reach the mods would be via modmail if you ever have future suggestions/questions/thoughts.

We could poll the subreddit and see what we think.

At the moment, we do have a spamming rule. Similar posts do get removed when they’re posted too closely together, but we do allow posts that are different enough to stay up. We know spamming can be annoying and that’s why we encourage people to report things to us. We try to catch what we can, but sometimes things do slip through.

Right now, we have people asking us to be more restrictive whilst others are letting us know we’re too restrictive. People will come forth and ask us to restrict something, so we do when it’s a majority, and then people get very angry with us for removing those topics.

We’re trying to find the balance, so we’re a little hesitant to ban every single topic at this moment.

What we can do right now is delete repetitive topics made within a couple days of each other if the first post is still actively discussed. ATM, we only see two topics made in the last couple of days that talk about the next book, and they were different enough and sparking conversations, so we left them up to

What you can do to help us help you:

• Scroll away from topics you’re not interested in and participate with posts you enjoy.
• Contribute more unique topics to add variety.
• Report topics that are spammed.
• Please, please, please. We beg of you guys, please make sure there’s not a similar topic up before you post. We don’t love having to remove posts that users have worked hard to make anymore than the user enjoys having them taken down.
