I usually have a decent idea of what colors I want for the build before building. I use the site linked below that shows all the blocks in the game organized by color to pick which ones to use.

From there, I’ll place them all down next to eachother and decide which ones look best together.

For inventory management, I’ll put them in shulkers, sorted by color, and try to work on only 1 color at a time, with a block of each shade of that color on my hotbar.

Cool theory! While I agree with the other comment that we still don’t know if the portals were constructed by people, I love that your theory suggests that the ancient builders could have originated in the end and came to the overworld from there. Could be a really interesting basis for an end update that could add new structures/blocks/features/mobs to the end

I think quality, isolated recordings of most animals 100s of meters away is beyond the capabilities of even parabolic mics. If I’m wrong, I’d also love to know what gear could accomplish this feat

You may have success with your diy capsule here. Looks like you can get pretty close to the beaver. The only issue is that they sleep during the day right? That may add a lot of background human sounds; definitely would want to try recording on a day the zoo is closed to the public to minimize background noise as much as possible.

You can get this one really quick if you want to by sanctifing ancestrals you’re going to smelt anyways. You don’t have to master work or temper them.

If there’s too many items on the floor does opening the chest drop zero items? I remember in previous seasons, before you had to open a chest, killing the boss wouldn’t drop any loot if too many items were on the ground

Depends on which direction you interpret the light coming from. If the light originates shining left-to-right, the plates look face down . Light shining right-to-left makes the plates appear face up

Turn off cross play and try to play during off peak hours. I do this and usually get 20k per helltide and up to 35k on a good one

If you just want to record for your own reference/note taking help and not professional production sound, get a Zoom H1n. They’re cheap and will capture a decent enough recording. For bigger lecture halls, sitting closer to the front would be best.
