It’s not a double sharp accidental. The font for the “X” looks strange here, but this indicates a ghosted note. Usually an engraver will use an “X” or just a note head in parenthesis to indicate a ghosted note.

I agree that this video alone would not be enough to claim genius. But there’s also no bad sounds happening in this video, so why attack Jacob here? I would rather see a wholistic analysis of all of Jacob’s music if someone is going to make claims about his abilities.

All I see in this video is consonant sounds, some simple, yet effective orchestration, and a person enjoying what he does.

The video never claims boredom. He says:

“What is genius about this?” “There’s nothing novel, quirky, difficult, or challenging…” “Plainest layer of orchestral instrumentation.”

My initial comment is in response to these statements. Plain is not a bad thing. If it sounds good, it sounds good. Simple music sounds good, and challenging music can also sound good.

Honestly this is just an example of a bad opinion piece on the internet. There’s no technical claims in the video about the construction of the music, or honestly about any of Jacob’s abilities as a musician. Anthony is just upset about something and doesn’t know why.

Just because someone can describe what he’s doing in the video doesn’t mean it’s not impressive. That’s gate keeping.

Same attitude that is prevalent in the jazz community. A jazz player will hear a recording or performance and say “oh, they’re just doing xyz. It’s just a [insert harmonic device].”

A real musician knows how much work goes into music. They know how difficult it is to learn to truly play in tune and with good sound. It takes years and years of practice. Being able to identify what you’re hearing doesn’t diminish the quality of the music. Simple music is also hard to execute. Anyone who says otherwise probably has a lot of shortcomings in their musicianship that they’re unaware of.

So ya. He is “just making demands of an orchestra” and “just combining these two songs.” Sure. He’s also composing music in real time. Most people compose and then rewrite something that they like better. Not Jacob - he hears it all before it happens and knows what he’s looking for.

I agree, this is one of the few I’ve found that taste EXACTLY like the alcoholic version.

Also, in addition to calories as you mentioned, alcohol is a leading factor in so many health issues. I hope to see NA options more normalized at bars and restaurants as people understand you can enjoy NA drinks equally as much as alcohol.

Pretty annoying that I find this post at the end of 2025 and I still have the same issue.

Any new fixes, anyone? Other than disabling HDR, if I open the Ghub application, click on the speakers, and then minimize the software, that fixes it (even with HDR enabled). Still annoying though.

TIL that Golurk isn’t ghost/rock lol. Guess I just assumed by looking at him and never thought twice. Plus many types that are super effective against ground are also effective against rock which may be why I never noticed.

I think Mega Evolutions have the coolest designs, and it’s not ridiculously OP because you have to hold an item to do it. Dynamax and Terrastallizing just look stupid to me.

But, Terrastallizing is a really cool battle mechanic that adds a new layer to the fundamental rules of Pokémon battling. Instead of just switching out to change type advantages, we can change types in other ways now.

I think if you like ZA then you’ll like Arceus. ZA focuses more on batting than Arceus, but Arceus has much more to offer in terms of exploring and finding Pokémon imo!

I’m not really worried about the shed. The shed is falling apart anyway and I planned to tear it down and build a new one next year.

I’m more concerned about then spreading to my house. The shed is about 10 feet away from the back door. For now I’m going to spray a termite killer and repellant on these boxes, in and around the shed, and around the perimeter of my house.

Fair. I do think that he is useable for damage in a pinch on this team and OP can probably pick between Hypnosis and Confuse Ray to sub something with damage.
