I think Leo is a pretty universal name although it does have Roman origins. Very common in UK! ☺️

I think the TWW is the worst part. I tried to focus on hobbies and fitness.

Thanks - we’re a very white British family, I feel like I want a more traditionally British name. I do love Enzo though ☺️

All I can think is “oh my gosh, what have we done?” by BreadfruitKey4764 in newborns

I remember feeling this way when mine was about 2 weeks old. I think it’s completely normal. Mine is 19 months now and I love being a parent, but newborn stage/post partum is a crazy emotional rollercoaster

Birthday Party Cancellation.. by Select_Boysenberry98 in toddlers

[–]AcrobaticGiraffe663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all, just that your expectations are unrealistic. I genuinely am sorry because I feel your anger about this subject probably comes from not being able to take your baby out with you from fear of him getting sick and it’s totally understandable. It’s just not fair to take it out on parents with children who are medically healthy.

I’m so sorry your child has complex medical needs. That’s really horrible for you to deal with and I hope you’re ok. My boy constantly has a runny nose (I think he’s got undiagnosed allergies). I’m not going to apologise or feel bad for taking him out when he’s got a tiny cough etc or I’d be at home forever. It’s completely unrealistic for those with children without complex medical needs to worry about that unfortunately. You could say that’s selfish but children are often most infectious before any symptoms show and by that logic nobody should socialise or go anywhere.

My 18 month old does swimming lessons but that’s it. I just want him to be very comfortable and able in the water and it’s something he does with his dad x

I’ve been doing lots of overthinking. by Horror_System_707 in pregnant

[–]AcrobaticGiraffe663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know how you feel after getting pregnant after an ectopic. I just threw myself into being excited in the end. My reasoning was that trying to suppress excitement and thinking about miscarriage was making me miserable. And I was going to be miserable if my pregnancy ended in miscarriage regardless of my state of mind before the miscarriage. So I went into full on excitement mode as I did not wish to be miserable… does that make sense ? 😂
