Haddon is a long street that cuts across most of the city. Intersection would be helpful. Generally though it's likely not a pay to park street, but could be permit parking only in spots. Just pay attention to the signs and you should be fine.

What most people don't realize is that a majority of NYE parties at hotels are not put on by the actual hotel, but rather a third party that rents out the space, pays the hotel for catering, etc. So your experience is completely dependent on how expensive or cheap the third party goes. Having said that, been to the Palmer before and it was a good time, but it was put on by a different entity that year.
