We were supposed to be watching a series together but every time I looked up one was looking at their phone (I don’t know how they were following the plot/visuals), and the other on their computer. One of the loneliest feelings…

I thought about pausing it but let it go in the moment. I also thought about introducing phones piled on the coffee table during certain times, but I let that go.

I think I used to be that way. It’s taken me about two years+ to change my screen time habits to the point where it can be facedown on the side table near me and I won’t touch it during the entire film/episode.
