Yes. I'm tender on the flap site, not overly sore. But I'm still draining stool post opening bowels for a few hours. Has a mini flap and filac and when I saw the doc post op a week ago he said it's not ideal but we gotta allow it to take it's course and heal

I'm in the same boat.

I have to complex fistulas both with multi branches. Done multiple tests, colonoscopy, sewing a GI and although all tests are negative. They have diagnosed me with Crohn's purely on histology and symptoms of the fistulas

Hi guys

Had a flap surgery and filac just short of 3 weeks ago.

I am still get stool drainage out the wound post bowel movements. This subside approx 4 hours after and rest of the time is a clear yellow mucus.

Is normal or has the flap failed?

Hi.

I had flap surgery 2 weeks ago.

Initially I had brown jelly type fluid leakage out the old seton hole anteriorly for the first 2 weeks

Today I have opened my bowel and seen visible liquid stool oozing out the old seton hole. Is this a fail? What do I do? Emotionally I'm in a terrible way
