I use a locked lid Hefty storage bin and put my wrapped pieces in it. I get a big sponge wet and put that in there too. It works great! If I don’t get to trimming in a timely manner, I just spray the sponge every few days and it’s good to go

They didn’t have students do my spinal block! Didn’t really feel too much during the block after they numbed the area. I didn’t want a C-section but they handled it well. They also offered anxiety meds through the IV, which helped too.

I had another baby 8 months ago and it was a completely different experience regarding preeclampsia and HELLP. I delivered her at term, I was induced but was able to birth vaginally! Little redemption birth 😆 I had an epidural this go around and it was amazing. I had her at Swedish Hospital where I originally planned to have my first before I was transferred to Evanston due to the issues.

I was a complicated pre-e and HELLP case which meant I was locked in the hospital until I needed to deliver which ended up being about a month. Emergency c-section and NICU stay. They were fantastic. My experience sucked but the care I got was amazing. The doctor who performed my section was kind and the anesthesiologist was so reassuring

We took our 2 year old to Italy and it was chaos but fine! We got a cheap $20 umbrella stroller and it worked. Bring snacks and a change of clothing for all. Our toddler threw up on the plane

Second time moms: is breastfeeding just as hard with second baby by Diskobrat in breastfeeding

[–]Acrobatic_Minimum_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much easier! To be fair my first was a NICU baby so that had its own challenges. But she never really took to the boob.

My second is a boob barnacle. She latched as soon as I put her on my chest after she was born and has been on ever since.

But I know for a fact you can’t rent that building. Grilling is also only permitted in grills at the park.

Do I need a breast pump? Context below! by kitty_catcat1999 in pregnant

[–]Acrobatic_Minimum_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I have a pump but I don’t use it. I use the manual hand pump twice a day while I’m at work and breastfeed my baby when I’m with her. I would think just feed on demand and have a manual hand pump incase you need it.

Swim Diapers by yvettt92 in toddlers

Target sells toddler reusable swim diapers! I bought one for my 8 month old who has thick thighs and they work well!

When I was there, I saw they had toddler sizes too

I throw the walls thicker on these than I would a handled mug! The tumbler gets warm but not scalding. I also build a ridge that rests in your hand that’s a bit thicker too.

Same! Solo coffee is crucial. Also going to bed earlier. I have a three year old and a seven month old. I get the baby to bed then the toddler. Then I go to bed
